So many awesome changes, big and small, have come to Squads over the past month alone! Weekly Activity, the redesigned header, the Flea Market with its new Storekeeper role, Squad Trophies...

Turns out doing in-game activities is a lot more fun when you get paid for it there are extra rewards to earn. And when you can work together to make those rewards even bigger, while competing a little against each other? Now that's the good stuff! Weekly Activity really brought a lot of Squads to life. Some are aiming for the highest possible Activity Level, while others are just trying to hold on to their current one

Five Squads have already reached the current maximum — Activity Level 4. They leveled up every single week. The pride of our team!

With the latest update, Squad members can now earn Coppers and exchange their hard-earned coins for goods at the Flea Market. Assuming, of course, that the Storekeeper has remembered to restock the shelves on time

Where does he get the goods, and who's supplying them? Nobody really knows, but it's probably best not to dig too deep. Sounds shady. Deal? Good. Here's COPPERS for keeping your mouth shut

Each Activity level gives you two available slots that can be filled with all kinds of rewards. Boosters, GUM, Cookies, packs from different collections, and much more — plenty to choose from! Though you'll have to save up some Coppers for the juicier stuff

As you've probably noticed, being part of an active, close-knit Squad has become even more important and rewarding. Working together, you can achieve much better results — both for the whole Squad and for your beloved self

We love the social side of the game, and we want to develop it even further. Some people have asked, "Why can't the Admin also be the Storekeeper?" Well, because every good captain needs a good crew! More roles will be added in the future, so team up! You can't be the captain, the Storekeeper, and the entire CapsGame Squad all rolled into one

Tonari no Capstoro

The improved and updated Season Event format launches on November 1. That's tomorrow! Assuming the newspaper comes out as planned, of course. Otherwise, all these spoilers will look like a dried-out cake — sad and not very tasty... But first things first

Our very first pilot Season is over. It ran from August 12 to October 26 and managed to achieve its main goal — shake up the boat of everyday routine. Sure, not by much, but the waves of activity definitely got bigger. After all, playing Madness for the millionth time is a little more interesting when your results count toward something bigger

We decided to remove the “Trading” ranking from the Season, because it doesn't really fit the idea of a “long-term competition.” It allows players to suddenly shoot ahead without breaking any rules. So we replaced it with “Activity.” What are the rules for this ranking? Now that's a great mystery!

In the new Season, we grabbed a massive sledgehammer of changes and took a swing at the entire Season Events concept. Rebuilt the whole thing, put up some fresh wallpaper, and brought in the decorations. There are plenty of improvements, but let's focus on the big ones

The new Season will have a theme. What does that mean? Well, at the very least — a unified visual style. And at most — a unique Staking bonus for all collections that match the theme

We also dragged Season Box into the game. A little box that holds all your personal efforts across the seasonal Rankings. Why were players so grumpy before? Because they didn't have a bike personal ranking of their own. Now they'll finally start being nicer. Right?

Oh, and for convenience, we've standardized all Points across all Rankings into SP — Season Points

Season Box tracks your entire contribution throughout the Season. Earn SP, level up your box. The higher its level, the better the rewards you'll find inside at the end of the Season. Yep, you can only collect the rewards at the very end. Throughout the Season, all you can do is keep upgrading your Season Box

And here's the juiciest part — a unique seasonal Trophy will be waiting for you at the final level! We specifically adjusted the requirements so that any very active player can get their hands on it

But pay attention to the words "very active" not just "any" That's important!

The Daily Grind

Riddle: we had 23,000 GUM, now we have 25,000. We had 2 Boosters, now we have 3. We had 0 Ability Shards, now we have 50. Make of that what you will

And yet, for some reason, all the attention ended up on an imaginary dilemma involving two wooden pieces of furniture. Even though there are no foreign objects on them, never have been, and one of them can easily be moved out of the way

We also brought in a big sofa. Nice and comfy, perfect for lying around for hours and doing absolutely nothing. And we promised to bring some extra soft cushions, too. But someone has already managed to leave a dent in it from lying there too long and demanded the Complaints and Suggestions Book

To be fair, some of the complaints actually made a good point. Though the handwriting isn't always easy to read

Well, that turned into quite an abstract little section. About furniture. What did you think we were talking about?

Trick or Treat?

The event is in full swing! It's too early to sum things up, so let's just have a chat and share some interesting bits. Oh, right! There's also another promo code. But you'll have to guess it yourselves. All we'll say is that it's a single word and has something to do with the holiday. 100 activations only

We know that players really loved last years' Halloween collection. And come on, we loved it too! So when creating the new Hallowed Nights collection, we decided not to stray too far from that awesome, distinctive style, while still adding some fresh touches

And the new Antique Mirror frame was actually designed specifically for these two collections. But we're sure the community will find plenty of other cool combinations too!

By the way, we deliberately didn't make the new frame too hard to get — its drop chance is actually pretty high. You can also get the previous Halloween frame in Caps of Fortune, and the Ranking is giving away the entire supply of 100 copies of the new Trophy! Now that's what we call a celebration!

We also really hope you'll enjoy all the awesome stuff the CapsGame team managed to put together, sparing no time or effort. Although the original plan was simply "let's repeat what we did last year" Well, guess what? We didn't!
