CapsGame Times #3 - April 2026

CapsGame

The April issue of the newspaper has noticeably slimmed down. CapsGame Times is an author-driven project, and therefore can’t avoid the influence of external factors — whether it’s intense work on new updates or the Moon in Mercury. Nevertheless, it would be quite sad to leave you without a new issue, and besides, why interrupt a tradition that has only just begun, right? So we’ll cover only some of the events of the past month, and you can expect a full-fledged issue next time!

F**k you, Beavis!

Could honestly write nothing else here — Helga will say everything for us. For everyone who has truly felt this pain! But there’s no guarantee this improvement will go live before the newspaper issue does. So here’s a little spoiler, in case you still don’t know what this is about

Now, in "Swapes" and "PvP", you can mark the "1-to-1" condition if you don’t want to receive any offers other than the one stated. No more Beavises in exchange for Community collections!

Well, unless you’re Mr. Slave, of course. If you are, you can still keep receiving those kinds of trade offers — we don’t mind, and we totally understand. Everyone has their preferences…

A new filter has also been added, so you can choose PvP or swapes only with this parameter. And the player who accepts those conditions physically won’t be able to put up anything else. Round!

This improvement has been asking for itself for a long time, but we wanted to do a full, global rework of the "Swapes" and "PvP" modes all at once. However, to be perfectly honest, we got tired of putting up with this "Beavis chaos" ourselves

So we did it in a simpler and faster way, but in a "lite" version — you can create and accept an offer only with a strict 1-to-1 condition, meaning: "I’m trading exactly this for exactly that"

We’ll definitely come back to a more comprehensive improvement of the "Swapes" and "PvP" modes, but for now, we hope this update lowers the level of the absolutely understandable butt-burn

Not Just Any Egg, But a Trophy

As part of the recent “Easter 2026” event, “Easter Eggs” were added to the game — the first representatives of the unique “Trophies”. And literally right after them, the “BMO” trophy rolled in, taking its place on the shelf of the top players in the “Adventure Caps” ranking

The idea of additional collectible items that would also have some utility had been floating around for a long time. But only in April did it finally take proper shape

Every Trophy has a Staking bonus, which gives an additional percentage of $CG gain if you attach it to a specific cap in Staking. This rule will always apply

A Trophy may also have an “Activation Effect”, which gives an additional effect if it is displayed in the Profile. The “Easter Egg” doesn’t have one, but instead it has an increased Staking bonus. “BMO”, on the other hand, gives +10% to all caps from the Adventure Caps collection if it’s proudly sitting on the shelf

Every Trophy within its supply is a rare and valuable reward. For true connoisseurs and lovers of collecting unique little things. Sometimes we’ll keep part of the supply for ourselves, so we have the ability to raffle them off later. But this is not a rule, and the very next Trophy will be distributed in full

And when it comes to the variety of forms and effects, you’re in for a real celebration, because we plan to keep up a steady pace of releasing new Trophies. For example, there will absolutely be a bonus to receiving GUM when breaking the Piggy Bank. And many others!

What will the next Trophy be? “Pizza”! Do you really need more hints about what event is waiting for you in the coming days? Though we do hope the newspaper comes out earlier — otherwise, that would be kind of awkward…

Frame Bonuses

Not the easiest decision, but we really do understand the importance of utility and the motivation of players who have repeatedly asked us to add this bonus

One of the tricky parts of a decision like this is that the visual side of things is a matter of taste. Someone might like a “regular” frame, but it only gives a small bonus. So you’ll either have to use something you don’t like as much, or accept the “shortage”

Now every frame gives a bonus to $CG gain, ranging from 2% to 10% depending on its rarity and how difficult it is to obtain. The only exception is Squad Founder — an achievement that takes a lot of effort, but gives +15%

And if you don’t visually like the frame itself, but still want the bonus — we get it. That’s why any frame can now be hidden for free. Technically, it will still be present on the cap, but it won’t be displayed

For now, we won’t comment on the possibility of removing or selling frames. But no such changes are planned in the near future

And very soon, a new cool frame will be released, one that anyone will be able to get. You’ll definitely like it. Stay tuned!

Not in Just One Line

We really like the pace of event activity that has taken shape over the past few months. We’re actively working to maintain and develop it — both by running already established event formats and by coming up with new ones

Adventure Caps Event was warmly received by the game community, which makes us very happy. It was the first launch of this kind of format, but far from the last. We’ll try to improve it and make you happy again — this time with a different collection

Also, just recently, you had a chance to try your luck in Caps of Fortune. Unlike a casino, where the player almost always gets “nothing”, we still give out caps every time. Yes, you need some luck to get Epic and higher, but inside, it’s completely fair random. And in the next launch, we’ll already add guaranteed prizes, as well as unique rewards

And the battle speed-up in Combat 2.0 almost passed without a proper news mention. But it happened!

Afterword

The issue really did turn out quite small and, to be honest, with a fair share of bureaucratic wording and official tone. But the muse and work overload spare no one. We’ll do better next time! We love and appreciate you for your support — everyone who expresses and gives it sincerely and from the bottom of their heart. Rays of kindness from the CapsGame team!
