Thorougly disapointed by this “Naturist Village”. Apart from essentials like restaurants and shops there was virtually nothing to do in terms of organised activities for naturists. The vast majority of what I saw available was branded as sexual, and aimed towards swingers. I even saw people have sex in all sorts of places. Not what I'd expect from a naturist village at all. We didn't get much information in advance, but were told almost the last day that July and August are most popular for swingers. I wish there were more clear separation between swingers areas and naturism.
At one entrance to Port Nature, the Melrose Bar is hard to miss! Regulars to Cap D'Agde will know the place, but it is a must for first timers too. The place opens around 10pm and by 11 pm will be packed mostly by couples. Females, and sometimes the occaisional male, will take to the stage and try their hand at pole dancing often wearing really sexy clubbing gear. Often females will team up and put on some erotic FF dancing. The atmosphere spreads to those dancing around the stage as the place and the music heats up. Sheer tops and dresses might well come off too to the delight of those both inside and out. It's not unusual for crowds of guys 2-3 deep to watch from outside through the rolled-up window panels. It's a great place to meet other lifestyle couples, have a bit of fun and dance for a couple of hours. We usually go there before heading on to a club. My wife especially likes the atmosphere and the buzz from the pole dancing - and of course hooking up with other females. Overall, a diverse crowd out for a fun time but it does get seriously rammed!
This has become an annual trip, and it gets better every year. A few ups and downs, but the villagers are mostly easy and enjoyable. You have to figure out some complicated opening and closing times which just seems strange that during the short high season you have to put yourself on a schedule; essential stuff should just stay open.
For those seeking the Naturist experience in a welcoming and safe environment, you should spend the $20 Euros vehicle entry fee or $50 Euros for a 3 day consecutive pass. Most of the beach is occupied by couples and families. For those looking for “adventure”, head East down the beach to where the crowds gather and be prepared for the liberated crowd. You can just watch or join in. After 8 PM the locals staying in the village “dress up” and head out for a night of “socializing” at the various restaurants and clubs. Nothing like this anywhere on the planet.
i and my wife come from naturist village last week .it was good place for naturism many resturant with good meal and also many cafe. about the clothes in the village about 70 percent of people wear clothes but on the beach 99% was nude and in swinger part of the beach many sex action do. about the night it can be better. some pavement under instruction now!!!!but i think they should do this instruction before the high season
I went back at the end of August for ten days to feel the place. Less tourists already and more quiet people. The Glamour club has not improved and the Kamasutra club is a disaster accepting all kind of people passing on the beach as long as they pay..15 euros, a shame for the couple who come to meet other couple, but what can we say except not going there. Concerning the infrastructure of the village, things have seriously improved and roads, as well a pedestrian places are being resurfaced and restored, parking have been completely reorganized and materialised, a good thing. On the beach unfortunately, no more control or the rogue people walking into the naturist camp from elsewhere with no control and completely dressed, coming just to take a look at the naked girls and kids. A shame. Nevertheless this place is slightly improving as the Mayor have invested hundred of millions at the entrance of Cap d Agde (New Casino, new Congress Palace) and now plan to build a new and modern entrance for the Naturist quarters and this will change undoubtedly the look and the impression we get when we arrive overthere.
