All over the county came to the city to take part in court dealings. In time, residents would bring their own possessions, whether it be produce, livestock or other original items to trade or sell. In the year 1965 First Monday outgrew the town's Town Square so it was relocated to the present ground. And the rest is history...

First Monday Trade Days is comprised of a wide range of private vendors, so the odds are, regardless of how many times you've visited there, you'll never get to see all. The flea markets are situated on hundreds of acres and over 700,00 square feet of shopping.
