The traditional Canberra Snow Sale was held last Saturday at the Exhibition Park in Canberra and saw hundreds of visitors come through the doors to purchase ski and snowboard equipment ahead of the winter season. The Canberra Snow Sale is a fundraiser for ACT local programs and supporting the development of snow sport community initiatives. The event could not have run so smoothly without the dedicated team of volunteers who gave up their time to help running operations on the day and contributed to make it the most successful sales event to date. One of those brilliant volunteers was year-old junior cross country skier Heli Laajoki, who recognised how it was a big team effort to put the event together.
