Can i freeze my car insurance?

I am 28 yrs old. I've a record that is clean. I got a speeding ticket over. Seatbelt on. May my insurance carrier realize I got this solution and certainly will they raise my charges. We have Geico. Must I preserve this ticket off my document and consider the defensive driving type? Or can I just pay it and carry on?
