Business Development & Grants Manager

Job Description

Job brief

Long-term growth leads to business success — and here at Khul World, we welcome prospective team members who can help push our vision forward. We’re currently searching for an experienced business development manager who can engage with multiple departments and partners to drive measurable results that benefit our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and trains our sales professionals. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart.

Objectives of this role

• Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings
• Maintain positive professional relationships with clients 
• Use financial techniques to improve sales revenue
• Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met 
• Track and analyze all business-related invoices and transaction
• Develop grant letters and reach out to potential organizations to pull grants to our organization

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions
• Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients 
• Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders
• Provide continuous, constructive feedback to salespeople 
• Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines
• Interact with clients and grant organizations to respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services

Skills and qualifications

·        Proven experience as a business development and/or grants manager

·        Thorough understanding of business development practices and methods

·        Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles

·        Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management tools

• Proven record of sales growth 
• Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field
• Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques 
• Exceptional project management skills
• Clear verbal and written communication skills 
• Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in managing sales or marketing teams
• Sharp negotiation and networking skills 
• Organizational skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Educational background in business, marketing, or finance

 A “player-coach” who can both manage teams and get into the weeds when necessary.

Desirable Qualities of Advantage

·        A passion for Self Transformation and Wellbeing

·        Passion and Experience in Community Service. Eg. Rotaract, Rotary, AIESEC, DOT

·        Experience with building strong and engaged teams/community

P.S. Passion and/or experience in Personal Growth and Wellbeing is a big plus.
