My husband and I have been receiving massages by Meredith for over a year now about once or twice a week and I have to say she is incredible. We honestly could not imagine using someone else for this service. Some people have the magic touch and she is definitely one of those people! Very professional and extremely knowledgeable I can really tell the difference where all my aches and pains were and they are gone. She brings a very sturdy, stable table and clean comfortable sheets. I can't say enough great things about my experiences. If you are thinking about using a massage therapist- Meredith is definitely the one to use.
Hands down, one of the best massages I've had in a long time. I echo everyone's sentiment about how knowledgeable Meredith is. She knows human anatomy! It's a great thing when you not only want to feel relaxed, but also address your aches and pains. Her equipment are clean. The oil she uses isn't sticky and it doesn't have a strong smell like many oils out in the market. Meredith is also very professional and is careful to provide "recommendations", which makes her credible from my perspective. Her price is very reasonable, especially since she travels to you. I will DEFINITELY use Meredith from now on. No more salons for me!
I've been having massage work for years, and am glad to have finally found Meredith! She's extremely knowledgeable and is responsive to my particular needs when we have an appointment scheduled. She uses nice, clean equipment and I really enjoy having the home visit over driving to a location as it saves me time and stress. Who wants to get dressed and navigate traffic after a massage?? If Meredith ever leaves the Montgomery County, MD area, I think I'll cry....or just follow her and move wherever she goes :).
I've been using Hands On Call for over a year now, and have always enjoyed having the massage done in house so there's no traffic stress after I'm all relaxed! Meredith has always been prompt, professional and patient (I'm the world's worst scheduler), but the last time she was here, she came close to miracle status. I had a meniscus repair several years back and managed to re-injure it a few weeks ago. My initial reaction was to make an appointment with my doc, but I thought I'd try HOC first and see if massage would help. Bingo! Meredith worked wonders with my knotted muscles, and shortly thereafter I was able to resume my bike commute and am now back to running. Highly recommend Hands on Call.
I am a chiropractor who today received my first massage from Merideth at Hands on Call. It was AMAZING. First of all, she travels to you and provides everything needed for the session, leaving you with nothing to worry about. She even brought chemical-free, natural, hypoallergenic massage oil which was great because I try to avoid products with any kind of chemicals. The massage itself was one of the best I have had in a long time. She has a gentle yet therapeutic touch. She can relax the muscles and ease tension and stress. At the same time, she is knowledgeable in specific muscular therapies such as strain-counterstrain technique which can dramatically improve muscular balance and functioning. It is difficult to find a massage therapist who can provide both stress-relieving/spa-like massage along with therapeutic massage that addresses specific problematic areas in the body. She is very personable, kind, and friendly, and her rates are also very reasonable. I highly recommend Merideth at Hands on Call Massage.
We have utilized Meredith's services on several occasions for my husband, my college age daughter and myself. My husband, who has serious arthritic issues in his back and legs, mentioned that the positive effects have been lasting for several days. I scheduled a massage with Meredith over the phone. I was a little apprehensive as I had never had a massage in my own home or outside of a spa setting. Meredith put me at ease right away. She was very professional, and showed up with everything she could possible need to make my experience great. She set up a professional table and transformed the living room of my tiny apartment in Cleveland Park into a spa! The massage was perfect with just the right amount of pressure and the proper time spent on areas of concern for me. The greatest thing about having her come to my home was that when the experience was over I was able to continue relaxing in the comfort of my own space - no need to get stressed out again commuting back to my home from a spa. I would recommend this service, and Meredith specifically, to anyone looking for a relaxing massage - this was worth every penny and was definitely one of my top massage experiences.
