Room tip: Interior rooms are more quiet (did'nt even sirens). Rooms facing Copley Square will definitely hear street traffic.

Perfect hotel except all the drunk hookers, the hosts knows about them and noone is kicking them out, its like a mafiabusiness over there. The prices for drinks and internet are terrible! The rest was perfect!
The Fairmont is fine. Perhaps this is appears to be damning a bit with faint praise, and maybe it is, but there's really nothing wrong with it (except for the OAK Long Bar + Kitchen, which is a train-derailing-into-a-kindergarten disaster, as detailed in another review). The lobby is beautiful: old, ornate, welcoming. Check-in was friendly and painless. The rooms are a touch on the small side. We were informed that we received a room upgrade, which apparently meant we had about 100 sq. ft. more space, but the room could have fooled us. I'd hate to see the small rooms. Or, you know, stay in the small rooms. The rooms could use some updating: The decor looks reasonably dated (and not in a "beautiful old lobby" way, but in a "we designed these rooms in 1996 and haven't felt the need to update them since then" way). With that said, the rooms were beautifully kempt, and the bed was quite comfortable. Would we stay here again? If the price is right, sure. It's a nice place.

The hotel is historic building with a really beautiful lobby. We had a standard room, and it was very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The location is great - walking distance to shops, restaurants, and sights. The hotel has valet parking, which I greatly appreciated as parking in Boston is difficult. It is easy to catch a taxi as well. The Concierge was very helpful and knowledgable. We had breakfast in the hotel's restaurant, which was delicious (although I had hoped for a bigger tea selection other than Tazo). I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for 4 nights for a conference. Got in on the red eye from Seattle at around 6 AM. They were able to accommodate a really early check in. Great location right in front of Copley Square and within walking distance of some great restaurants. Easy access to Boston Metro system in addition to the Massport Logan Express (takes about 13-15 minutes from Logan for $7.50, half-price if you happen to have used their local metro system!). Staff was helpful and efficient. I stayed in a Junior Suite and expected a little more amenities (shoe horn, shoe brush, slippers, etc). Overall a good experience and will definitely want to stay again.

For the shops and being in the heart of Boston this is the place. An iconic building, recently refurbished, our room was comfortable and well proportioned. Great shower and bed with soft linens -only problem was trying to cool the room down, we were there during a VERY cold snap and the heat was blasting.Front desk were kind enough to say we had been offered an upgrade, and it would only cost $50 more - thought this was rather rude, so i didn't rate them a 5.

Stayed for 5 days in this hotel for a meeting. Great interior, 24 in room food service and a very friendly staff at the front desk always ready to help. The Logan Express bus from the airport stops right in front of the hotel. Newberry street with its boutique shops is waking distance. Hubway the Boston Bike share stand is just opp. Very close to Prudential tower and shopping mall. Expensive but worth the price. 2 Indian restaurants closeby

Boston police are seeking the public’s help locating a 16-year-old girl from Dorchester.
Thiaoma Bijou was last seen Wednesday, May 25 at approximately 7 a.m., after she left home to attend school in Cambridge, police said in a statement .
“She is described as a Black female, approximately 5’4”, 150 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes, possibly wearing black sweat pants and a pink top,” police said.
The 16-year-old is believed to be in good mental and physical health. Though she had been reported missing on a separate occasion earlier this month, Thiaoma did eventually return safely, according to police.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is being asked to call 911 or District B-2 detectives at 617-343-4700.
