If you're familiar with shows like Wednesday Downtown and Tantei Knight Scoop, this show will probably be a good choice for you to check out. It's similar in that strange scenarios are acted out or planned by comedians. At times it's an interesting look into Japanese culture in recent years, other times it's straight-up funny, other times it can be boring, or even upsetting. The episodes I did not particularly enjoy were the hunting and homeless episodes. For the hunting episodes, I felt they dragged on too long, but the experts were very interesting to hear and despite my squeamishness, it was not totally unpleasant to watch. The homeless episode was a serious disappointment. Living in a city in the USA with one of the highest homeless populations, I was very wary, and while it started out intriguing and almost endearing, it became almost unbearable to watch. That episode is a blight on an otherwise interesting and enjoyable series, coming from a fan of Japanese comedy. Despite that, the other episodes are largely enjoyable and I would like to see more seasons translated on Amazon Prime.

I'm no stranger to Japanese entertainment, but this is a bit hit or miss: -The hunting stuff bored me ten minutes in, so I skipped the rest of those segments. -Making fun of homeless people (competing for money, no less) for not knowing about Shakespeare or Andy Warhol is not ok. That was sickening to watch. Definitely the low point. -The actual pranks (not the self-made pranks) are good, but not super funny. -The "experienced girl" stuff was fun. Inherently sensational, but still good tv. -The beauty fart banquet was gross but brilliantly weird. That's probably the high point of the series, along with... -The wives massage parlor competition was really, really great. Perhaps the moral of the story is that these guys are much funnier with women around.

I tried to make my way through a few of the episodes. I even got desperate and took the advice of another review and skipped around to a couple of their favorites. But in the end, even with skipping boring parts, it didn't feel like it was worth the time to watch. It just wasn't that interesting or entertaining and I like a few of these comedians. I would pass if you've got other things you want to watch.

This show does have some boring moments / episodes but you have to remember that these are rejected scripts. The experienced girls, the fraud championships were hilarious. I look forward to a season 2!

You have to pick and choose which episodes to watch but the fraud episodes are amazing. And have you thinking will you fall for it?

The episodes about experienced girls are crap. Telling viewers that women who masturbate on trains or buses are cool is awful. If it’s a man who’d do that, he would go to jail. Having sex with 5,000 people before the age of 40 is not normal... and it will not help the declining birth rate of Japan. This is a stupid show... If I can give it a zero, I would.

Absolutely unwatchable. The presenters are not funny, and I am not completely sure what the show is actually about. You probably need to be Japanese to get the cultural relevance of it. The subtitles were not helpful either, they were too fast and badly timed. Switched to another show, life is too short to waste time on bad TV.
