Sign up and join the community: “ 3MD ” Membership Levels
“3MD” = M andatory M onthly M embership D onations
We call it ‘3MD’ to protect your privacy on your card statement.

NUX MadMax Level • SparkieShock Artist Support Level • IVAR THE BONER Viking Level • CALIGULA Roman Level
Please pick your “3MD” membership level below.

Scroll down all the way to make your donation choice.
We are a not-for-profit community, and live exclusively from member donations.
One way or another you will need to chip in a little to keep Scaffies going.
All community contributions are voluntary and recurring DONATIONS – and not refundable.
This is what the not-for-profit Scaffies community voted for in Fall 2019.
“Recurring” means your donation membership renews automatically
(otherwise it is way too much overhead for the unpaid volunteer administrators to follow up individually).
Supporting Scaffies with more?
Gives you more, and helps the community and the artists grow and improve:
this is why we have different membership levels.
You can cancel your donation subscription or delete your account at any time.
[Pre-2020 Members: With this $5 per month plan, nothing changes for you from what you had previously from 2013 to 2019 (except for contributing a Starbucks-coffee-worth each month to the site now). ]
Monthly, 6 Months, or 1 Year recurring donation memberships.

We have to define the levels somehow to make it work with the membership system, thus the various pricing options to accommodate all the various donation pledges.
The SparkieShock level is a special membership to help out a popular ballbusting artist with a donation split (as of 1/1/2022 SparkieShock gets the full amount – no more split). While Madeira Desouza – another popular ballbusting artist – prefers to promote his art within the Scaffies community, where his supporters get links to full collections of his creative works elsewhere, SparkieShock posts his Parilla Electro Shock Ballbusting art exclusively here in his SparkieShock group.
Members with this membership level have access to this group. This allows SparkieShock to promote his art elsewhere, brings new members to Scaffies, and makes his popular edgy to very edgy art accessible to a wider community without censorship issues . The donations collected beyond the NUX level As of 1/1/2022 the full amount of donations collected are passed on to SparkieShock by Scaffies without deductions.
It has the same capabilites as ‘NUX ’
Monthly, 6 Months, or 1 Year recurring donation memberships.
The Viking level is basically what the special benefits were in the past (2013-2019) for all those donors, who supported Scaffies financially in the first six years, and kept it going.
It has the same capabilites as ‘Nux’
Monthly, 6 Months, or 1 Year recurring donation memberships.
The Roman level Power Member is a new role & level.
A few members want to go above and beyond just donating substantial cash to the community.
They want to engage on a much more intense level. You cannot express more how much you are into ballbusting than with a CALIGULA membership :)
Monthly, 6 Months, or 1 Year recurring donation memberships.
The Captured Pirate level was an annual $10 expense to keep your Scaffies account (for existing members who joined prior to 2020).
It was basically the entrance level to having a Scaffies account. This was the “look only” version, in which you could not participate in community acitivities, and only got to ‘see’ a very small portion of all the stuff on Scaffies (of over 350,000 Topics & Replies, over 455,000 Activities). The community voted in 2019 to make a small donation mandatory ($5/month = NUX level) – the Captured Pirate level was for those who want to keep their Scaffies accounts, and not actively participate, until they were ready to support the community like everyone else does. However, despite this clear description, new members occasionally used this level to sign up (for whatever reason) — thus it is no longer available for new sign-ups.

You received only very limited ‘Spectator’ access. Pre-2020 members had over 18 months to pick a new membership level.
1 Year recurring donation membership. Existing “Captured Pirate” memberships will continue and renew annually.

All community contributions are voluntary and recurring DONATIONS – and not refundable.
This is what the not-for-profit Scaffies community voted for in Fall 2019.
“Recurring” means your donation membership renews automatically
(otherwise it is way too much overhead for the unpaid volunteer administrators to followup).
You can cancel your donation subscription or delete your account at any time.

Independence Day Notice: as of 04 JUL 2022, you need to verify your email address as part of the sign-up process.
Reliable communication is important!
Our payment processor provides the embedded credit card field, which shows up here on the site. Scaffies does not (!) see the information you enter. You are only asked for the card information (which we also do not see! – of course) – no other personal info. The system handles the automatic credit to your membership level – we see nothing more than that. This is perfectly safe, millions of people use the service every day.
The memberships themselves only show up as “ 3MD “ (short for: M andatory M onthly M ember D onations) – we figured not everyone wants “Scaffies” to appear anywhere on their credit card statements (we have heard from a few members that “Scaffies” did appear on their cards, despite our best efforts that it does not). If this is really critical for you, use a gift card and pick a longer term (yearly) donation subscription.
This works all fully automatic, so the volunteer admins do net get involved at all, except for customer (member) service in case there are questions.
Allow your card to be processed / charged in the USA. Many credit cards can be configured these days on your online banking with geo-blocking features to allow / disallow charges in a variety of countries (typically to prevent fraud in obscure countries, which do not use EMV chips , but only the magnetic stripe on the back; when card data is stolen, crooks create new magnetic stripe cards, and use them in less-developed countries without EMV infrastructure; to prevent this kind of fraud, many card companies issuing EMV cards – such as in Europe – disallow those countries by default) . If you are not in the US, then it may be turned off by default. If your card gets declined, please verify you allow charging in California, USA.
Gift cards (prepaid credit cards) can be used . Just make sure they are valid in California USA, where the charges are being processed. We intentionally set it up in a way which guarantees the most possible privacy. You will also notice the processor only asks for the credit card number, expiration date, and CVC along with a email – not your name, nor your address. We at Scaffies only see the last 4 digits of your credit card, and which card it is (Visa, MC, etc) – nothing else: only if the payment was successful or not; and all of that is done automatically by the membership system software we use.

7. Castration €“ Hard Candy

Hard Candy marked David Slade€™s successful transition from directing music videos to helming feature length films. Featuring an incredible turn from Ellen Page, Hard Candy was an incredibly smart take on the slasher film that subverted all of the usual genre trappings. The film focuses on the interrogation and torture of a suspected paedophile by a 14-year-old girl. The girl, Hayley Stark (Ellen Page), is seeking evidence of her victim€™s nefarious acts and resorts to threats of castration in order to extract the truth from him. Slade puts his audience through an incredibly tense and drawn-out castration procedure, maintaining some semblance of sympathy by ensuring that the audience is still unsure of how guilty the man, Jeff Kohlver (Patrick Wilson), is. Regardless, the prospect of watching a 14-year-old girl castrate a grown man who only has a bag of ice for anaesthetic is a daunting one indeed.
