As I look back at some of our most famous Cult Movie Queens, I am also discovering some of the most beautiful Models of their time who ultimately don’t seek a career in entertainment at all!
My “2021 Sex Kitten Countdown” has the story of one of them!
Cady Cantrell was born on September 12, 1972 in Lanett, Alabama. Cady was a cheerleader in high school in both Lanett, Alabama and Norcross, Georgia.
She worked as a waitress at Hooters prior to moving to Atlanta, Georgia.
As is the case with many beautiful young women, Cady was spotted by a savvy Photographer and ended up appearing in Playboy magazine.
Cantrell was the Playmate of the Month for April 1992…
For many of these Playmates, Hollywood beckons, and movie and TV roles were the next natural step in their careers.
Cady was a Playmate at a time when VHS releases were hugely popular, and her credits included several Playboy home video releases, most notably the release of “Private Pleasures” in 1992…
Cady also starred in Playboy’s Home Video release called “Wet and Wild IV” that same year.
Remember how popular your local video store was in that one “special” section with these shows?
She also appeared in several Playmate review videos as well around that time.
Her sole foray into acting was basically playing herself in the “Fresh Prince After Dark” episode of the TV series “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” in 1993.
After this short run of VHS fame, Cady left the business. Cantrell now lives in Macon, Georgia.
