Thread starter rfc Start date Jul 26, Location Pennsylvania. Is it crazy to use the 19 inch Cadiz wheels as a winter wheel set? I'm planning on buying a new set of light weight 18 inch wheels with summer tires, once my factory rubber wears out. I will also need a set of winter wheels and tires. I'd like to keep the Cadiz wheels so that I have them for whenever I re-sell the car in the distant future I like to keep all of the stock parts. Is it completely stupid to wrap the Cadiz wheels in some winter tires, and use them as a winter set? I know a smaller wheel is better for winter, but I don't really feel like buying a 3rd set of wheels and just having the Cadiz sit on a shelf for years. Location Denver, Colorado. I don't think it's crazy at all. It's a good idea to use the Cadiz for your winter setup if you're trying to not have a 3rd set of wheels. You're gonna really enjoy the lightweight 18s with summer specific rubber. An 18x8. Location Tennessee USA. If you can sell the 19' you can get some wheels for 18' in winter. All depends on selling the 19'. Most likely just going to order the indy's and wait for stock. The price is just too good. As soon as someone see's aftermarket wheels, they think modified, and the value decreases. Well this may have changed. While washing my car yesterday, I noticed that the rear passenger wheel has some minor curb damage Now, I don't know if they are worth keeping and restoring, or just sell them and get a set of more appropriate winters. Or just leave them damaged and still use them as winters since they might have been damaged being used as winters anyway. You must log in or register to reply here.
