📖 Lecture «Forensics, fundamentals and tools that help in solving problems in CTF competitions and beyond»


😎 We continue our lectures and events with friends and CTFClub partners! GIS is coming to visit us this Sunday!


💁‍♂️ Alexander Katasonov, an analytical engineer at the GIS Laboratory of Cybersecurity Competence Development and Promotion, will talk about his CTF competition experience in the field of forensics. Alexander will share the knowledge and show practical examples of tasks that were solved as part of the st0p_cyb3rbu11ying team and by himself.


📚 At the lecture, we are:

▪️Study the basic definitions and concepts

▪️Find out the main locations of Windows and Linux logs

▪️Learn how to analyse traffic, RAM and disk image

▪️Form the main list of tools necessary for investigation and task solving

▪️Examine tasks examples
