CRM Data Assistant

Digital nomads. Work from anywhere

Company: Olive Tree Consulting Group

Olive Tree Consulting is providing advisory support to a Dutch logistics company to help them simplify their management routines. We are looking for a CRM Data Assistant to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity to assist with this engagement. This is a fully remote role focused on maintaining the accuracy and reliability of the information we use to guide our clients. By keeping our records precise, you help ensure that project decisions are based on clear evidence and reliable history.
About the Role
This position is vital to the success of our advisory work. In our current engagement with the Dutch logistics firm, we are helping their leadership move away from relying on memory to manage complex projects. Your role is to manage the CRM system that serves as the foundation for this effort. You will be responsible for ensuring that all data related to contacts, project milestones, and internal handoffs is accurate and up to date. This role exists to remove the confusion that comes from disorganized records, allowing both our consultants and the client to work with a clear view of their progress.
What You Will Do
* Update and maintain contact records for stakeholders involved in the logistics project.
* Perform regular audits of CRM data to find and correct duplicate entries or missing information.
* Enter meeting outcomes and assigned tasks into the system to ensure clear ownership.
* Assist the team by pulling specific data sets for internal reports and status updates.
* Verify the accuracy of project timelines and record any changes as they occur.
* Organize digital files and link them to the appropriate records within the CRM.
* Help map out the structure of client departments to ensure we are communicating with the right people.
* Identify areas where data collection could be simplified for the consulting team.
What We Are Looking For
* A high level of accuracy and a patient approach to detailed tasks.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple streams of information.
* Clear, direct writing skills for internal notes and documentation.
* The ability to follow specific instructions while noticing when something in the data feels incorrect.
* Reliable communication habits within a fully remote team environment.
* A preference for order and a methodical way of working through a list of tasks.
* An interest in learning how data management supports business decision-making.
Helpful Background
* Familiarity with any CRM or database software, perhaps through an internship or university project.
* Comfortable using spreadsheets to organize, sort, and filter information.
* Previous experience in a role or volunteer position that required careful record-keeping.
* The ability to summarize discussions or documents into clear written points.
* A basic understanding of how large companies are structured or how logistics projects function.
* Educational background in business administration, information management, or related fields.
What We Offer
This is a permanent, full-time position that is fully remote, allowing you to work from a location that suits you. We provide a professional environment that focuses on clear results and practical work rather than unnecessary meetings or corporate jargon. You will gain direct experience in how management advisory operates at a high level while supporting a major project for a Dutch logistics company. The position is paid, and the compensation is competitive for an entry-level role in this field.
About Olive Tree
Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution. A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear. These are rarely personality problems: they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company growth. we favor practical changes over large scale transformation programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment. Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own. The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
