and then when I plugged in the various external drives it appeared as if the drivers were installing On my Windows 7 laptop my computer doesn t recognize storage devices in Windows Explorer such as my to the new user account Thanks for the reply First of all when I tried to create the account by searching for user accounts and clicking on Add delete and manage other user accounts I got the same results In other words nothing launches when I click on it Then I found a way to create an account and sure enough I am able to access file history from the new account Of course this new account does not have any of me settings apps etc What do I do now How do I fix my main account Is it an issue of rights and permissions My external hard drives show up under Disk drives and they say under Device were no changes that I can think of and I have tried every USB port A few weeks ago I setup my file history to perform backup history on certain folders Now I need to change the settings to add more
