CEC: The voting process is proceeding without incident.

According to the Central Election Commission, by 13:00, more than 13 thousand people had participated in the new local elections, which is almost 19% of the number of voters in the respective localities.

By that time, 380 people, or 12.79% of voters, had participated in local referendums.

The highest activity was recorded in the village of Plop in Dondyushany district and the municipality of Frumusica in Floresti district, where the turnout exceeded 28%.

The most active participants in the local elections were people between the ages of 56 and 75— both men and women.

All 40 polling stations will be open until 21:00.
