Progress report york university (Albany) (Latin music plays) JAKE: I got to go to Cuba to study Spanish for a week during reading week, which was really cool because I got to immerse myself not only in the language but in Hispanic culture which I had never really been able to do, so to be able to actually be in Cuba and be engaging with people from Cuba, I thought that was really beneficial for my language studies. We learned through engagement with the community. Western being able to offer me that opportunity totally got me interested in travel, and I think it's definitely gonna be something that I do for the rest of my life.
