NanaimoNanaimo ( nə-NY-moh) is a city of about 100,000 on the east coast of Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada. "The Harbour City" was previously known as the "Hub City", which was attributed to its original layout design with streets radiating from the shoreline like the spokes of a wagon wheel, and to its relatively central location on Vancouver Island. Nanaimo is the headquarters of the Regional District of Nanaimo. Nanaimo is served by the Island Highway along the east coast, the BC Ferries system, and its regional airport. It is also on the dormant Island Rail Corridor.
LantzvilleLantzville is a coastal community on the east side of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, along the western shore of the Strait of Georgia and immediately north of Nanaimo. The District of Lantzville was incorporated on June 25, 2003. It covers an area of 27.08 square kilometres (10.46 sq mi) and has a population of 3,807. The district is almost completely residential, with some commercial buildings on Lantzville Road (formerly part of the Island Highway). The area is served by the coast-spanning Island Highway and the Island Rail Corridor.

2022 MLS SuperDraftThe 2022 MLS SuperDraft was the 23rd edition of the SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. The SuperDraft is held every January prior to the start of the MLS season and has been conducted via conference calls since 2020. Previously, the SuperDraft had been held in conjunction with the annual January United Soccer Coaches convention. Since 2021, the SuperDraft consists of three rounds. Teams that received fourth-round picks for this draft via past trades received compensatory picks instead. Of the 75 players selected in the SuperDraft, 28 were signed by MLS teams—most of them from the first round picks.
2025 Cavalry FC seasonThe 2025 Cavalry FC season is the seventh season in the history of Cavalry FC. In addition to the Canadian Premier League, the club will compete in the Canadian Championship and in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. On February 6, Cavalry FC made history by becoming the first Canadian Premier League side to obtain a win in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, after defeating Liga MX team Pumas UNAM.
