CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: Seeking Nominations for Human Communication & Technology Division Leadership & Committees

With the annual NCA convention this week, the Human Communication & Technology Division is seeking nominations, including self-nominations, for the following positions:

• Vice-Chair Elect (4-year commitment: 1 year each as Vice-Chair Elect, Vice-Chair, Chair, and Immediate Past Chair)
• Graduate Student Representative (1-year term; elect 1)
• Dissertation and Thesis Committee (1-year term; elect at least 3. The Vice-Chair Elect will chair the committee, and the previous year’s winner will also serve. All candidates elected by acclamation.)
• Nominating Committee (2-year term; elect 2. All candidates elected by acclamation.)
• Article/Book Award Committee (2-year term; elect at least 3. All candidates elected by acclamation.)

Interested individuals can indicate intent or send additional questions to nominating committee member Katy Coduto, kdcoduto@bu.edu. Those interested in vice-chair and graduate student representative are encouraged to prepare short statements that can be included in the HCTD business meeting presentation.

Individuals may also self-nominate from the floor during the HCTD business meeting Saturday, November 23, at 11 AM CT.
