Buzzy Bees are Coming To Minecraft

You may be wondering what's all the fuss is about bees as you read the last paragraph of this article. Bees aren't only important to our ecosystem, but they are also in danger. We've teamed up with WWF to help the mainstay of the show, the majestic and humble bee, by raising funds for WWF's efforts to protect bees and other important species. There are three ways to help us to support WWF's conservation efforts: make a donation during the live stream, purchase the most adorable merchandise available in the Overworld (available on Friday! ) or buy the Character Creator Bumblebee costume in the Minecraft Marketplace. We'll be donating a percentage (62.5% to be exact) of those proceeds directly to WWF! What’s the worst that could happen Mojang will make a donation of $100,000 to WWF to support the beloved bees.

We're thrilled to bring bees into Minecraft and to to protect the bees here on the Earth that we all share. Let's celebrate bees as they arrive in Minecraft on the 11th of December by participating in the exciting events we've planned!
