If you do want lunch you can get a really impressive spread on Daku Island. They cook up large lunches including seafood, meats, rice and fresh fruits. We saw quite a few of them and it all looked so delicious! Walk away from the boats around the curve of the coastline to where the palm trees meet the water. We found there were almost no people over there and it is so beautiful! You can take some really beautiful pictures of the palm trees, clear water and surrounding boats. We ended up spending about 4 hours on Daku Island and honestly we could have spent an entire day there. It is such a beautiful island and we were so glad not to be rushed to leave quickly! Guyam island is a small island that is taken care of by a local family. There is a large sandy beach area where your boat will pull up. If you can snag one this would be such a good spot to take a little afternoon nap! If you keep walking around the perimeter of the island there is another sandy area on the back side. We visited during low tide where small rock pools formed. You can also find a small shop on Guyam where you can get something to eat and drink. From Guyam island back to Siargao takes no more than 15 minutes. Then make sure to pay your boatman and make sure you have all your stuff before leaving the boat! You can literally buy these anywhere in General Luna. We actually saw them sold on all the islands we visited in the Philippines. We just kind of trusted that it worked which ended up being true! There is literally nothing on Naked Island so you definitely want some sunscreen for that first spot. We love our microfiber towels because they dry so incredibly quick! We never have to worry about laying them out for hours which is so nice especially when moving around a lot! You can buy water on Daku Island but there are no facilities on Naked Island and by the time we got to Guyam Island there were no food or drink options. Travel Truth : One thing that is really nice about the Philippines is almost all hotel and hostels provide free filtered drinking water. Places get deliveries of large water jugs and it is usually free with your stay. We also saw quite a few restaurants that had a self service water station with the same water jugs.
