Everything was great about this hotel In order to shower, we had to hold up the shower head the entire time. This can get difficult when you're trying to wash your hair, use soap, shave, etc. We thought perhaps this was a 'Czech Republic Thing', but our friends were staying in another room at the same hotel, and their shower DID have a shower head holder. I guess we just got unlucky in that respect. Sometimes it was semi-cool, sometimes it was stuffy. It decided when it was going to work, which was not ideal on the few warm summer nights we stayed. It didn't seem to matter how we changed it, the unit did what it wanted. Our friends in the other room said they did not have this issue at all, though. Seems like other rooms were totally fine Other than that, the hotel is awesome. The staff were pretty nice, the location is unreal, and it was cheap! It was in the main city but everywhere was walkable. There was a restaurant outside the hotel which had the best risotto and czech beer. Romana, the receptionist was the most delightful and beautiful girl during my stay. She helped with everything. I even left a gift that I bought upon check-out in the room but they were quick to be contacted via email and found it, FEDEX-ed it over and all is well. Nice small hotel, 4 min walking from the famous Narodni Museum. Staff is very nice and helpful. They gave us amazing tips, where to find original Czech Food. Fusion is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The dorms are more like stripped down four star hotel rooms, with two bathrooms per 6 bed room. The rooms, including linens, were cleaned daily. Everything was new, modern, and sparking. The staff, especially Jakob at the reception, were above and beyond the call of duty, going out of their way to make sure to accommodate your every need. On the down-side, the bunk design was awkward, with two sets lying side by side. Still, they were comfortable sturdy. Also, the locker I was assigned was broken. Lastly, which isn't really the hostel's fault, the place was overrun by drunken Dutch and German teenage boys, and the rooms on the first floor could hear the music from the bar. But, hey, this is Prague in high season The hotel was stunning we had a fabulous room right opposite the astrological clock in the Old Town Square our 6 year old and 8 year old loved sitting on the window sill watching the clock, they never tired of the skeleton ringing the bell, and the apostles moving past the open doors. The room was extremely large, with a very large bathroom, the room was spotless, the hotel staff were extremely knowledgeable and couldn't do more to help. The breakfast was enjoyable with a large choice. OK for vegetarians, as eggs, salt, cheese, bread, yoghurts etc Truly a wonderful hotel in a stunning location, we can't wait to return. Lots to do with the children Prague Zoo fantastic, horse and carriage ride, watching buskers on Charles Bridge, walk up to the top of the clock tower for a birds eye view of the city, The original black light theatre, the Marionette theatre Great, modern hotel at a really good location. Close to Vaclavske Namesti, city centre, train station. The rooms are spacious, bright and colourful. Buffet breakfast was included and was great. You can also sit outside in the courtyard. There are cool film posters throughout for cult Czech movies. The staff at reception were helpful and friendly. Great place! This hotel was beautiful, just what i was expecting of a typical czech hotel. But and this is a big BUT, the hotel is situated on the busy main road, going through Prague, with trams trundeling along. Also its opposite the largest european disco so it said so if your very sensitive to noise this is not the place for you. It didnt bother us at all. But because of this i only gave 3 stars for the location. Last min booking for morning departure flight back home. Was told to have a 6-people dorm instead of 4-people. It was so cheap that I did not ask for compensation. Plus, What could I ask for? It's fine as the reception staff member was so nice. Room is clean with lockers provided. Location is good, which is walking distance from station. Uber to airport or from airport would be a good option. Is my second time at Prague and I love this Hotel, total recmend it. The location is perfect and the price is absolutely worth it. The view was amazing and the staff and furniture gave me the best support for the trip. Totally recommend it. I had one of the best experience staying in a hotel anywhere here, and I've literally traveled to almost every corner of the globe. I arrived early and not expected to be able to check in at 8. So I could take a shower and had a little nap after 10 hours flight, I was impressed. On my last day my flight was leaving at 8 p. This was, by far and large, the friendliest hotel staff I've met. Granted, the room was not as spacious as others I've stayed in but it was more than adequate and the hardwares were a little dated compare to the more modern hotels but you'll do just fine staying here. The best part of this Hilton Old Town is their access to all mode of public transportation which is 'A Must' for exploring Prague, Namesti Republicky Metro Station is right down the corner and it takes 2 minute walk! Train Station is across the street although not the main station HL. N but if you just want to go to other provinces in Czech Republic it'll serve you well. Tram stop is also right across the street both front and back of the hotel. You will have no trouble getting around Prague that;s for sure. If you stay in old town area it could take you quite a while to get to public transportation since there is no metro or tram run through the area. Also, it only takes leisurely ten minutes to walk from the hotel to Old Town Square, and 20 Minutes to Charles Bridge. I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Prague! Iron Gate hotel is very centrally located from the Old Town square with a number of little markets and excellent restaurants and bars right around. It's in a very safe location and the staff were very kind and helpful. Room was huge with 2 bathrooms and a little lounge area. Breakfast was the best we have had in a European hotel. Pros - no more than 5 - 10 mins from main square, good restaurants and bars. We had friends staying there and the drink prices were reasonable. Cons recommended improvements - my biggest issue was no air con. The two fans helped, but boy it was hot!!! This is located in a mainly residential neighborhood so it's nice and quiet. There are restaurants and bars within feet of the front door but I never heard any noise. The main train station is an easy walk downhill from the hotel- took us perhaps 15 mins to walk. It might be more difficult walking up It's a straight downhill walk to the river near the Dancing building. It took us about 20 mins to get there. The whole area feels very safe but closer to the river you get more of the large groups of young men didn't see many young ladies out bar hopping. The room was a nice size and the water was hot. Everything was clean. There is also an on site restaurant. What a wonderful hotel. Staff were amazing and helpful. Rooms were on the small side, however this was far outweighed by the clenliness and terrific location. Travelling with young children it is important to us to be in family friendly and safe part of big cities, this was both. Breakfast were excellent! The ONLY negative i could come up with was the sour staff member in the hotel 'monaco bar' lounge. Very unfriendly and was an effort for her to get off of youtube to serve you. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to return. The location is middle of the old town. It is very busy area. But in our room is very very quiet. The Charles bridge is only few min, and to the old town hall is also few min from the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Especially, a girl who speaks Japanese was very polite and nice. Although we had trouble with hot water every night, she helped us very quickly. And of course, one of the best thing is it's good value for money! We are very happy that we chose this hotel, and we definitely want to come back to stay, if we visit to Prague again! Perfect location, Nice rooms. Employees could be more welcoming, no concierge most time of the day at the lobby. Not suitable for a baby stroller to get in and there is no one to help. Breakfast is really 4-star hotel level and even there no one had asked to pay to caffe latte or cappuccino for breakfast. People were coming with their Starbucks breakfast coffee cups for the breakfast : Great work, Hotel Paris. NO fresh juice as well for the breakfast. Plastic and dirty baby chair from the 90ties at the restaurant. Could improve in these small things and it could be perfect, but maybe next time, if there will be one I guess not, as there are other nice hotels to explore. The hotel was really nice overall, a great value, and it's in the center of everything. After arriving, I had lunch at the hotel restaurant, which was surprisingly good. Guest service is excellent and obviously important to management and employees. Hard to beat the value. Breakfast was also excellent and included! My only complaint would be that the beds are a little hard, which I assume is the case throughout the Czech Republic certainly seems to be in Italy. Stayed in the most basic room the hotel offers and it was fine. I'm sure the others are even nicer. Highly recommend for the 'basic frills' tourist. Arrived in Prague and told by pre booked driver we had chosen one of best hotels. We arrived at a beautiful looking building with a warm welcome and decor that was so beautiful you have to see it. Appropriate for the age but so grand. One of our relations on FB replied saying it looked like the hotel was made of gold. My wife who is not just did not know where to start and you can even order waffles with cream and strawberry for free. Ah chocolate every day on the bed and lovely girl with basket knocking on the door eat day asking if you need more coffee or bar topping up. I could go on, but in short you just have to visit this hotel. Tram and bus stop just steps across the street from hotel. Breakfast is nice, room is clean and comfy. However staff need more smile to make guests feel welcome. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning. They offer a variety of meats, fresh fruit and sweets. We would definitely stay there again. The 'Husinek' Restaurant, which is one block away, is also a great choice if you would like to try some great traditional Czech dishes and beer. More afordable than the restaurants in the Old City Center. We had a great time in Prague and staying at Rott made it more convenient because of its perfect location and friendly hospitable staff. They have a restaurant that serves awesome local Czech food for good value. The staff were very nice and help u when u need anything, I really enjoyed it so much and I will be back there when coming to Czech again. We took this hotel because of praking for our car. During the reservation there was no note about parking, just information that this hotel have a parking. In all other hotels there was a notification about price for parking. Not cheap and would be nice to say that during the reservation. Personal during check-in wasn't in a good mood. You can see that they don't enjoy at work. We asked for a room at higher floor. We got a room at 18th floor. View was nice but temperature was terrible. In room was no clima and to make everything worse you can't open you window to make a room a littlebit colder at night. The room is not so big, just one table and one small chair, but still was so much dust on them. Wasnt cleaned for a while. Big and nice but overpriced and not so comfortable for staying few night and more. Good location but nice and quiet. This represents the best value for money we have experienced. I chosed this hotel when i booked it coz it looks very spelendid. And after I arrived there, i found that it's very convenient to every sightseeing spot, which i could go by walk. This is what I felt satisfied with it. Hotel room is very nice but still a little bit low of my expectations. I thought it would be larger. And the room is not rectangle size ,which makes the toilet and kichen room look very funny. Especially the toilet makes a little bit depressed. The hotel staff were very very kind to us. We loved them. I can say they are the best hotel staff i have ever met in Europe this time. And people speak very good English ,which makes us very happy to communicate. The last one is that the heating system is not very warm in Prague, sometimes I still wear my jacket in room. Anyhow, hope can go again in Summer time. Staff is extremely helpful. Nice restaurant around the hotel. The location in Prague 2 was good: It takes 20 minutes to walk to old town. We enjoyed the amenities. We did wish that we could have had English subtitles on the TV since all channels are in Czech. We came in winter, so do not know about air conditioning. Great Czech restaurant across the street and another one within a 5 minute walk called Cafe Imperial. There are also two mini-marts on the same street if you need to get some groceries. If you're tired of walking around town, they offer their bicycles for free too! Zero commission, zero fees money exchange just around the corner of the hotel as well. Czech Inn is a very nice and well kept hostel. The shared bathrooms are kept clean and the bedding is clean and white. The staff are willing to help travellers with tram tickets, directions, vegetarian restaurants, whatever you need! Look it up on the internet, it has great veggie and raw food and a funky bar. The Czech Inn has it's own great basement bar with dj's and live music on Friday nights. The hostel is located right across the road from number 22 tram to the centre, highly recommended to all travellers looking to save money on accommodation but still want to stay somewhere decent. One of the best hostels in Prague. Localisation not bad very close to public transport one tram to city centre. Rooms clean, breakfast very nice. Take it, as for this price nothing better you may find. Everything is prefect, the staff are nice, the room is clean I booked 6 beds and 4 beds but I prefer 6 beds the staff are very helpful and the hostel is close to the city centre, if I ever travel to Prague again, I still go with this hostel. Probably the cleanest n most tidy hostel bathroom I've been so far. No cheap eats but there are 3 convenience stores around. Location is not far from the old town only a few stations away, a 30mins tix at 24czk is sufficient. However before my check out, I flipped over my blanket to ensure I left nothing behind, and I saw blood stain. Doesn't that means they don't change the sheets every time? Not sure if it's good that I found out at the very end of my stay. But still, the cleanest hostel so far. Staff at front desk were nice. We booked a room for two and got a room with 5 beds other 3 beds was covered. The room, shower room and toilet looked all clean but kind of sneezy. At night there were some green mosquitos or some bugs dropping on my bed. Our neighbors seemed to have a excellent party -drinking, talking, singing and even dancing - till We felt a little upset because of the big loud. The best of all was the big kitchen with everything you need! They tried to answer all my questions and solve my problems in a polite and friendly way. They even helped me to carry to baggage upstairs because I could not do it myself. That means you can find someone to help whenever you need. You can meet new friends here by chatting with eah other in the common area. The issue paper is bad in quality. They did not provide enough hook inside. This was a bit noisy. I was here before, the kitchen was better equipped then, most the staff is friendly and helpful, they have some issues with agoda. I was hesitant about booking to many night from current rating but think it's low I added nights. Prague is a party town the hostel has tried to keep quite hours quiet. Fine stay here with very friendly hostel staff. Clean and comfortable hostel. Only let down would be the amenities aren't the best, only one shower and two toilets, can get a bit over crowded. Best place to stay when you are traveling to Prague, I arrived at 7 am and they allowed me to take a bath and put our luggages before checked in. When checked out, they also allowed us to take a bath at 6 pm and gave us towel. What a great hospitality Near to Metro and Tram is a plus. Easy to arrive If you come to prague by bus florenc , good value breakfast buffet 60kr yoghurt, muesli, cheese, ham, jam, fruit , quiet at night even at the biggest room, Nice atmosphere, good kitchen and common area, wifi works, cheap tap beer 29kr, helpful staff! Downside: annoying shower you have to keep pressing a button all the time for water , needs more power plugs available. The hostel was very easy to find from the nearest station. The night staff when we arrived was horrible - foul attitude and unfriendly towards us - and we were happy not to have to interact with her again. Booked a twin bedroom but got a room for 4. No other guests joined us. Big, bright room. The layout of the room was good maybe even a bit too much space. The area near the windows was given a couple of chairs and a table - very nice to have breakfast on. Windows don't open all the way. The shower was big and spacious and had good water pressure. Breakfast downstairs was well-stocked and had a lot of variety to choose from. Everything is well equipped inside the hostel. The bed is comfortable and you can have unlimited hot water supply in washrooms. They clean the rooms everyday so it's very clean and neat. The best thing I have to mention is that when you check in, the receptionist will give you a detailed introduction of the whole city. Maybe it'll take you five to ten minutes standing at the reception but this is the best thing I've ever seen when travelling. Even if you have no plans at all in Prague, you'll know where to go and what to see in the city. Wifi connection inside room is not very stable but you can still do whatever you want, it's enough for you to plan your ongoing journey. And also the location is very good, it takes only five minutes tram from the hostel to the old town. It's worth to stay in Miss Sophie's when travelling in Prague. The hostel is absolutely charming, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. I was also pleasantly surprised with the free get-togethers they throw almost every night. While I was there, there were free pancake and free BBQ nights. It was my first time came to Prague, I did some basic research before I decided to stay here and I thanked my intuition for that. The location is so great, near Mustek Station, grocery store, Prague bus station and also near the Prague old town, you literally only need to walk to go to some interesting places. The dorm and toilet were clean, the breakfast was nice, and the staffs were super nice! It took almost 24 hours from my country to get here and they gave me good service even though I talked like a zombie. And I kinda lost my passport in here My bad, but I got it back later , it was in the middle of the night and I was so panic and the guy at the front office calmed me down and gave me help by calling the embassy and such. I really can't thank him enough for that. In the end, I will definitely go back to this place if I come to Prague again and would likely to recommend this place to everyone. Really really great hostel! Great and quiet stay very near the city center. Very good price value, comfortable and clean. Very good WiFi internet, friendly and helpful staff and reception. Thanks all. I booked this hostel because I read all the positive comments on the website. I would say that the hostel is good and the staff are very friendly. The people living inside are mostly nice. There is one thing that bothered me during my stay: the paint odor or the odor from the wood decoration in the rooms. Could be improved. The bed is comfortable. Good sleep. Free towel. There are two toilets and two shower rooms. The kitchen is small, shared space also. Maybe you can not cook. Location is good, near the old square. It takes 10 minutes from Bus station in front of Grand hotel. There is no lighting on the bed side. The electric outlet is not enough. Good location with pubs and shops in the area. Lot of noice from the street and from the bars. Very good value for money. As a curiosity.. I have never had so much stuff stolen from me as here.. And judging by the notes left in the kitchen area by other travellers, stealing other peoples food seems to be a norm in this hostel. For the price paid it is much better than expected. Tram stop is located just cross the road. Staffs are friendly and the place is clean, wifi is good. It is perfect if you just need a comfort bed with less people in the dorm. Nothing to complain abt this hostel. Everything was so good. The room was spacious and clean. Toilet was always clean. Location can be access by tram from the main station. And near the tourist area as well. It was a nice stay with very good location. The receptionist is very friendly n welcoming. The main bus n train station r just in front of the hostel. The room is spacious n clean. Overall, it is still a very satisfying stay that we will recommend to friends. If U get to Litomerice U should enjoy this Deal, communal bath and giant kitchen,as if from yesterday s construction so New and Clean. This place is good if you're on a budget and looking for a hostel with a good location. It's very near the city centre. There is a fridge in the room and a kitchen at the basement. There were some tourist brochures in the drawers and maps. However, there were too many people staying on one floor and some seem to be staying there long term. You can hear a lot of door slamming in the morning, at night when people are going in and out and to the bathrooms. The bathrooms are fairly clean, until someone wears muddy shoes in. Would be good to have more bathrooms and wifi. The location has little far but the service is good. The master of hostel will tell you useful information. The facilities is like a home and all facilities are enough for everyone. The price is low. I needed to stay two nights and have a hotel not too far from the main sports arena. PTH was the closest available. The route to there was quite easy. Since I had no luggage worth mentioning, it was easy to walk there from the main bus station more than 1 km though. If you have luggage, take a taxi, since no public transport goes there, at least not along Volgogradska. If you want to explore the city centre, perhaps you should find something closer. Did not notice any grocery stores around. The Swedish table type of breakfast was available for CZK less than 6 eur. The staff was friendly, I could borrow an umbrella, despite having told that I cannot bring it back before late in the evening. My main interest was internet upload speed, since I needed to work with videos. In room 29 it was OK. Overall good stay. Stayed for two enjoyable nights and will go back. Staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. Breakfast is in the keller and there is a good variety of foods served buffet style with some local specialties thrown in. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are modern - hotel reminded me of a ski chalet. The town is one big fussganger zone so you park in the hotels lot and take a taxi to the hotel. The biggest room we have in our trip. Free Wifi. Good location near the castle and Charles bridge. We walked back and forth everyday. The staff is very helpful. We got problem with Toll sticker for driving on motorway. We bought from the post for day type. The post office staff made the validation date wrong. We bought it in Dec, she made it Nov. If we didn't check, we might get heavy fine from the police. And the staff there didn't speak English very well. So we came back to the hotel and ask for their help. The front office staff, she wrote us a note in Czech language, just in case, the post office staff didn't understand the situation. However, it solved by the post issued us the new sticker without showing that note, they were helpful as well. One of our best hotel experience. We have all we need in the room and the provision of a washer just hits the spot. The radiator in the toilet helped with drying laundry overnight. Breakfast could do with some creativity but happy overall. Love having a balcony where we can share a bottle of wine in the comfort of our room! The 2 single beds put together as a double bed was disappointing although it may be how the culture is. Mattresses feels like they are ready to be replaced, as they creak and have sunk quite a bit. Location a stone throw from the main train station, this designer hotel is very popular. As it was my boyfriend birthday, we received a free upgrade from the standard room. Staff were accommodating in assisting to arrange the pre-ordered flowers and champagne from the florist in my room prior to our check-in although, a little hiccup - as they mixed up the rooms. Hotel is about minutes stroll to the old town area. The money changer right opposite the hotel at traffic junction seems to have the best exchange rate from Euros to Kronas. The hotel is easy to reach with bus and metro from the airport and still situated very close to Charles Bridge on a quiet back-road with 10 minutes to the city centre. You need to be somewhat fit to use the hotel as there is no lift. The hotel is very clean and well run by friendly staff that speek excellent English. The restauran is very buzy and visited by the locals. The food is good and basically Czech with good beer. The location is great, next to the river. Bus terminal, main street and castle are all about 10mins walk. The breakfast is good and restaurant to a river view is amazing. The bad point is the room without river room, but when we booked on Agoda, it said the room is with river view. I will need to check with agoda. Very good hotel. We stay in Brno once or twice a year for 40 yrs plus and this was our first booking at this hotel. Although this is at the edge of town it is not a problem. Our only problem was with the door lock to our room. Don't stay in ! WE were locked out for about an hour. However, this was unfortunate and does not denigrate the good experience! WE are booked for next month, so not a problem. Nuno then introduced everything in his hotel to us and gave many travelling tips to facilitate our stay in Prague. The hotel itself is located centrally in the beautiful city. We made Good use of this locational advantages to have a full dimension viewing of the best of Prague. Another staff I would like to appraise is Almad. He is a cheerful young guy who is actually very willing to help. He found out the best Czech restaurant for us and advised me the best time spot for visiting the mesuems. Come back soon. The staff very nice and helpful. Hotel just beside shuttle transfer company - Green Shuttle. Free sauna room provided with booking. Hotel Roma is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. Best value for money, perfect location. It is walking very close to trams and walking distance to some tourist spots. The room is super big and has a tub. The breakfast, though not much of variety but very nice still. I will definitely book this hotel again if ever I will come back to Prague. By no doubt one of the best hotel stays we had. The location of the hotel is great. The room was quite big, had lots of storage space, super-comfortable bad, very nice bathroom and Very high cleanness standard. Above all are the staff of the hotel which were amazing and helped us with our every need and always with a smile. I stayed for 2 nights at Pure White, and the entire stay was nothing short of fantastic. I was greeted by very friendly staff upon check in and was offered an upgrade of the room. The staffs were very attentive and helpful in explaining to me how to go around and the best ways to get to major attractions from the hotel. The room itself is huge and tastefully decorated - with a lot of space for luggage and to move around. I would also like to compliment both staffs - Dita and Marek for being such friendly and wonderful help to me during my stay. Pure white might not be a 5 star hotel, but its service and staffs' attitude are definitely commendable! We emailed the hotel two days before of our arrival about how to get there from the Praha main train station, we were satisfied that we got a prompt response. Since we would arrive the train station quite late about 7pm , we booked the hotel transfer service. Though it was a bit pricey CZK , we thought it was necessary as the hotel was not near the train station, it was not safe if we got into taxi on the street. The staff was helpful, after we arrived the hotel, he gave us a 5-minute brief of the locations of different attractions using a map, and we were given some surprise. The staff there always took initiative to help customers, for example, one of them came to us and take photos for me and my husband in their beautiful lobby. The room is big, actually we were told that our room was upgraded to the Deluxe one, not sure if it is also big for Superior room. Room is very clean with trendy design. The whole hotel is new as it was opened in The hotel is well located, just mins walk to the main tourist attractions. It took about 20 mins walk to the Praha main train station. Their breakfast buffet was fine, there was a coffee machine and it was so nice to have a cup of coffee every morning. WiFi was quite fast. Water was hot and strong. However, the room was a bit hot, we turned on the air-conditioner, but it seemed that it did not work properly at all. The kettle was not clean enough, I wonder if it was due to the water itself as I have stayed at four different hotels in Germany and Praha, all kettles are like this, with some white powder residues inside it. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and definitely stay there again the next time. We hadn't expected that big room and cleanliness for that price. We stayed only for a night but this room setting is really for those who stay longer. The only downside is, though not a big deal if we had known that before we got there, that night-time reception and restaurant are located in Salvator Hotel, which is three-minutes' walk away. We didn't know that and arrived at the Apartment after pm and nobody got the door of the hotel building for us at first. We were fortunate that we could find a concierge who was about to leave but let us in and check in. He and another staff who arranged a car for us on the next day are both extremely helpful and nice. Also, a hour convenient store is just across the street and there is a tram station nearby. Hotel near to Andel metro station, about 5 mins walk from hotel. Very convenient location and centralized, near to Andel town centre with lots of great restaurants, supermarket and one of the best bread shop PAUL from France. Friendly and helpful staff Jane, good in English, a credit to the hotel. We bought her a piece of cake, appreciation of her professionalism. Our stay was very pleasant, comfortable and warm. They genuinely welcomed us as we arrived and as we checked out. Moussa and the other male staff helped me out as i needed assistance with an issue with the previous hotel we stayed in in Berlin. They went the extra mile. Thank you for that! They also helped us out with the tour that we wanted to join. The hotel was very beautiful and clean.. The decors were truly well thought off. The location was also good. As it is close to a railway station, the tram and taxis can be requested too from the hotel if needed. The food was also good. They had a variety of food during breakfast. And had ready drinks and pies or snacks during the day if you need or when you get back to the hotel from outside. Though there's just a time for it. So over all, we are happy to have booked and stayed in La Ballerina. We highly recommend it for everyone who come to visit Prague. Great hotel in a pretty convenient location, about 5 minutes walk from Charles Bridge. Breakfast was included in the rate and there was good variety and it was available until 12 which was great. The best part was the common areas, there was probably as much floor space in the hotel dedicated to common lounges as to hotel rooms. There are only 8 rooms, so no common area was ever crowded. The staff were great and brought us a bottle of wine at midnight when we returned from dinner one night. A wonderful stay. Staff was very helpful with booking restaurants, cabs and answering all our questions. City Centre area, very close to old town square, tourist spot all by walking distance , easy to get food fast food, Italian, Czech food. Room is very quiet, bed is very comfortable to sleep, every night I notice I just fall asleep an hour, it just like been sleeping for hours I been staying lots of hotel in different countries I would highly recommend that this is one of the best hotel I stay before, others than in Japan. Highly recommend!!! I decided to book room in Barcelo. I have arrived around am however it was to early as staff advised me there are no rooms available and check in starts at 3pm. Staff was nice but seems to be little bit surprised not sure if that was positive or negative that I speak local language. Room was very nice, spacious, comfortable, clean. Bed was not so soft and I could imagine better quality of bed. Anything else was really good. Free internet is accessible in all areas of hotel without needing password. Nice design lobby but I did not really find it good for business meeting as there is not so much privacy. I hold business meetings outside of the hotel. Hotel is in downtown area and major attractions are just walking distance. The best of this hotel is the look of its historical building that is completely reconstructed. Very nice hotel close to major touristic places. Very easy commute everywhere, including other cities by train. Amazing Kosher buffet, breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended for Jewish religious people and everyone who wants to enjoy Prague at its best. Will definitely stay there on my next visit to Prague. I stayed at Corinthia for 8 nights for a global conference at the conference centre a short walk away. I enjoyed the sauna and cold bath. My main disappointment was my treatment by a younger hostess staff at breakfast time. Each morning I enjoyed sitting outside in the sun. On one occasion, I was clearly discriminated against which I took photographic proof as evidence. I made a complaint which I had to escalate. This was managed well by someone more senior. I am not sure whether there is a culture among the hotel staff or among people of the Czech republic but that was the worst hotel experience in my life because of this. We had choosen this Hotel due to the location as it was not our first visit to Prague. When I checked here, I was surprised that for a 5 Star Hotel, the price was almost like a 3 star property. Even so, it was a very nice place, due to insulation it was absolutely quiet. Everything looked still new with a comfortable oversized bed, big bathroom. No place for soap after using?! Breakfast was good with so many different breads, cheeses, hams, salamis and fruits and even with Activia. We really enjoyed it and would go back again anytime. I also appreciate Marta on the front desk taking time in helping us answer all our questions before arrival. I am so happy that we booked this beautiful Art Deco hotel for them - they have made my parents anniversary and fathers birthday very special and we shall certainly be booking this hotel again in the future and recommending it to all our friends. Margo who runs the apartments was outstanding. I checked before going to ensure there was an iron and ironing board. Unfortunately it was not there when we needed it. Margo has a taxi deliver her own personal iron from home to the apartments. We will return for sure. The hotel is located on walking distance from the city centre. The metro station is also on the corner. The internet in the hotel was down, because of problems with the provider. We as business travels, went to the Mac Donalds next door to use the internet. The hotel is nice, but for us it's not a 5 star hotel, it would be more a 4 star hotel. Not a classic 4-star hotel, more a boutique on the 5th floor of Koruna Palace it was not clear from the descriptions. Location is excellent, parking garage is only two minutes walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good. Room was OK, bathroom is above class. This hotel is in an excellent central location, convenient for everything. The room was excellent though some bits in the bathroom were past their best and the shower over the bath is not very good and that area is cramped. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. However on two of my four mornings there I was sharing a table with someone else. On the second occasion an elderly man was shown to my table and sat opposite me and started to drink from my coffee pot. He was very pleasant so I had no real objection but there were free tables available in other areas. I think the staff probably wanted to keep guests together to save their time. These are very minor niggles but I cannot give the hotel 5 stars. Otherwise the hotel is fabulous and I strongly recommend it. We have a luxury superior double room. The room is state-of-the-art. Modern but charming. We love it! They know what they are doing - and theyre doing the best! Breakfast is also cool - made to order plus the buffet. Use of the hi-tech fitness center is included and the gym is WOW! We had a really pleasant stay here at Hotel Leonardo, Prague. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. We booked the 'Superior' room via Agoda and it was really nice. Our room was clean, spacious and airy. Location of this hotel is just perfect. All the members of the staff were pretty helpful and friendly. This is hotel is your best bet, if you're looking to book a hotel in old town of Prague. I traveled to Czech with my husband. I liked the interior of the hotel very much. The room was really clean, it was raining and the weather was cold, but I could have an extra blanket in the room. The staff were very friendly too, especially Alex was able to solve our requests. Even though the hotel is not too close Km from downtown of Karloby vary it is nice hotel. Hotel is close to Republic square and finding nice restaurants is not a problem. Great breakfast and a nice restaurant right next to the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpfull, they always helped me to get a taxi from the office back to the hotel. They have their own taxi service that can pick you up from the airport and anywhere in the city, its a bit more expensive but def worth it. I would come back here if i ever return to Prague.
