Wadi Rum is beautiful year-round, but spring March-May and autumn September-November offer the most comfortable temperatures. Summer June-August can be very hot, while winter December-February can get chilly at night, but offers stunning starry skies. The Wadi Rum desert is a hash place, obviously, so having suitable clothing can make your time here much more safe and comfortable. In the summer months, light, loose clothing is best, preferably with long sleeves to prevent direct contact from sun on your skin. In most cases, buses are available, but they are not frequent throughout the day, so sometimes you will have to take a taxi tip: agree on a price with the taxi driver before the trip in order to avoid overpaying. If you are hiring a car, you can drive straight to the village car park, which is free to use. There is a wide range of information available online, however feel free to contact us for assistance.
