Londt put the cherry on the cake when he said: 'I promise you, we will put forward the best candidates for the election. Our councillors need to do better. Londt raised concern among the DA supporters by saying that he was sure that the EFF will have representatives in council after the election. With the Knysna government set to consists of 21 councillors from next year, two more than the existing council, Londt asked the people: 'Do you want us to sit with ten DA councillors , ten ANC councillors and one deciding EFF councillor? He encouraged the DA supporters to assure a majority DA government after the elections, by saying: 'We must work hard to not have a coalition government.
