Buying a Near account (web)

Buying a Near account (web)

Near.Watch

Follow the account link market.near.watch/ro5.testnet (instead of ro5.testnet it should be the address of the account you plan to buy) and enter your wallet address (1) from which the purchase will take place.

The purchase is completed, in the fields "owner" and "next" your address is registered as the owner of the account.

To gain access to the account, click the "unlock" link next to the "owner" field (1). Confirm the transaction (2).

Wait for the account to be imported into your web wallet.

Now you have access to the purchased account from the official web wallet

In the account card, you can see two full access keys.

One of them created a service and deleted it from its memory after the operation was completed. The second key is generated by the browser during account import.

To create a mnemonic phrase for account recovery, go to wallet.near.org/profile and next to the "Mnemonic phrase" item, click the "Enable" button.

If there is a need to remove the contract established by the service and release 1.5 Near, then this can be done in the bot through the "Disconnect" function.

Attention! Those who want to use 2FA after purchasing an account should keep in mind that at the moment, due to a bug in the official wallet, this is only possible through deleting and re-creating the account. Unfortunately, this does not apply to sub-accounts like xxx.crowdforces.near and hex accounts (64 characters) due to the fact that you cannot re-create such an account yourself. For them, the use of 2FA after the purchase will be possible only after fixing the bug in the official wallet.

If you try to install 2FA on an account where another contract was previously installed, you may lose access to it!

If this still happened, write to the technical support chat, we will try to restore it!

You should also keep in mind that if you transfer the seed phrase to another user when using 2FA, you are at risk of losing access to your account.

For farm owners, we recommend using NearCrowd generation of restricted access keys instead of passing the phrase to workers.

They can be generated in the bot (creating NearCrowd keys) or use the link market.near.watch/nearcrowd

Further, the employee, according to the instructions and the data provided to him, will log in to the service, but will not have access to your account.
