Onto the next book. I started reading Nicole Jordan's books a while ago and i started with her first novel in this series, Seduction. But from the second book we were introduced to the character Raven, who was featured in all of the stories, leading up to her own one. Raven's story does not dissapoint! Again, creating the male of the story-Kell as an untitled, owner of a gambling hall-was great because it was different from Raven meeting a Lord or an Earl. A good read for those who like historical romances, and who like their main characters to have a few secrets of their own. I always enjoy books by Nicole Jordan definitely worth a read. I loved this story to bits! The only problem I had was at one point when Kell actually said that it was just sex between them, right before he went inside her during one of their interludes. It took him a while to realize he loved her. This was a truly erotic story, and I can always count on Nicole Jordan to give me just that. I loved the plot so much, and Raven was such a strong character. I loved her thinking and her realistic views and how she didn't give a fig what society thought. Favorite scene with Raven- The morning after with Kell. Yes, even when she shot him. Together- The pirate fantasy. She created a fantasy lover. What did you like about Kell- Despite the things his brother did, Kell wanted to protect him, although Sean didn't deserve it. Being kind to those less fortunate. What didn't you like about Kell- He let Raven think he didn't want her after Sean's death. And he seemed so tormented by his past. See more reviews.
