Bus into Paralimni that stops at Orphanidies. Busy from April to Oct with the tourists. Good about the bus. I enquired about a maisonette to rent there seen on this siten. No reply so far from Christina Is Penera right by the sea? Is there a dedicated bike path? How far to Protaras? Love the sound of that walk-exactly what is needed. Nice beach at Golden Coast Hotal next to small Harbour. Pernera is by the sea, path from Pernera to Protaras will take you about 30mins one way but that depends on how fast you walk. Me i just like to stroll take in the sea air and stop off at a bar for a drink. Some nice Reastaurants in Pernera but you can get pub grub aswell. My walking speed varies. In all, I v much like the sound of the area. I appreciate your helpful feedback. Most Tssokos hotels are not opening until 28th April so unlikely many restaurants will open if there's not many holiday makers about. Post by terri » Mon Mar 01, pm There are loads of new villas and apartments that have just been completed in pernera so if the housing market picks up a bit and more people buy these as permanent residences and not just holiday homes then there probably will be more amenities open year round for residents. Its all down to supply and demand really, but even in the winter there are a few people about who live there and a handful of places to go for a drink or a meal. I go every English easter and find that the Cyps tend to open according to the Greek easter which is the same as ours this year. Does this mean they would cancel my booking and send me elsewhere? Post by terri » Mon Mar 01, pm On the tsokkos website the only hotels which say they aren't available until 30 april are the silver sands and the antigoni. I just did an availability search on there and they all show available apart from these two. Pernera to Protaras along the beach walk - max 2 kilometres. If you walk along the top road it's maybe a tad further. Pernera to Paralimni is about four kilometres. The last stretch is a gentle gradient. My personal opinion is that Pernera is a beautiful place with nice beaches and eating places Mojito is my favourite as well but I would not choose to live there in the winter months,unless you like your own company very much.
