The breathtaking scenery of rugged, pale rock juxtaposed with gentle, verdant alpine pastures creates an awe-inspiring vista. Our journey will capitalize on lifts and cable cars whenever feasible, facilitating access to the summit for exhilarating downhill adventures. The terrain predominantly comprises singletracks, interspersed with occasional road and gravel stretches. Enriched by the experiences of a lifetime, our journey concludes with a shuttle back to Val Gardena. Flight not included. See guides. Here you have to be ready for a real challenge! The trips are often longer than at lower levels. Along the way, it will be both physically and mentally demanding, and that requires you to be prepared for this. You should engage in targeted training well in advance of departure, and you must prepare well. Incidents may occur, and they can be of such a nature that they require professional help. The level of the tour is demanding to very demanding. There is a great variety of different singletracks, some are easier, however often they are challenging, with slippery, steep and rocky sections, which can of course also be walked. A good physical condition and a solid riding technique on trails up to S3 scored by using the Single Track Scale, which classifies natural trails are therefore the essential prerequisites for enjoying this multi-day tour to the full. This trip averages meters of descent and meters of ascent daily. After crossing the Dolomites, we take a bus back to Val Gardena. Before embarking on our journey together, we kindly remind all tour participants to check their respective country's visa status and vaccination requirements. Ensuring your travel documents are in order is a crucial step in guaranteeing a smooth and hassle-free adventure. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of return. Additionally, research any required vaccinations or health precautions to stay safe during your trip. Don't forget to verify that your passport is up-to-date and will remain valid for the duration of your stay. Always consult with your country's official travel advisory or consulate for the most accurate and current information on entry requirements and health guidelines for your destination. Inform your doctor that it involves physical exertion. It is important that you complete all sections of the registration form especially where we request health and allergy information and let us know if there is anything we need to be aware of before and during the trip. Relevant health information that may affect the trip should also be communicated to the guide at the start of the tour. Please note that if you are on regular medications, have known allergies, or similar conditions, you should always have your personal medications with you. International flights are not included on this trip so it is important to check whether the departure is guaranteed or not before booking your international flights for the trip. On each departure, we must have a minimum number of confirmed participants before we can guarantee the departure. Alternatively, you can also consider flying into Bergamo, Verona, or Venice Marco Polo Airport in Italy, or Innsbruck in Austria, which are the closest - approximately hours away by a combination of trains and buses 1, hours by car. There are convenient train and bus connections available from all these airports to reach Selva Val Gardena. Several companies also provide private transfer services from these airports to Selva Val Gardena. Our accommodations will be a combination of a comfortable hotel in Selva di Val Gardena, and cozy, high alpine huts, that offer delicious food and beverages. Throughout the crossing of the Dolomites, there won't be luggage service, so we'll pack our gear in backpacks. However, the second hut provides a washing machine for underwear and jerseys, allowing us to reduce our equipment to the essentials. The huts also provide bed linens and towels for showers. At the hotel, you'll share a double room with another participant, while mountain cabins typically have -bed rooms. Single rooms only available at the hotel, not the mountain cabins are usually an option for an additional fee - please contact us if you're interested. With bikes ready, you have the evening to relax or explore the charming village before reconvening for a delightful dinner, setting the stage for the thrilling journey ahead. On the first riding day we will explore the area around Selva. Exciting single tracks and the first impressive panoramas will get us in the mood for the next days. A breathtaking tour will take us to the enchanting eastern side of the Sella massif, stunning views, many different singletracks and a tasty lunch break included. Back at the hotel, we will pack everything necessary for the following days' traverse into our backpacks and stow our travel bags in the hotel. The crossing begins with a glorious descent to the charming Ortisei. We will traverse the breathtaking trails of Val Gardena before reaching Canazei. In the late afternoon we will arrive at our mountain hut for the night, which offers an outstanding panoramic view of the Marmolada 3, m. After making ourselves comfortable in our rooms and taking a pleasant shower, we will turn to our well-deserved tasty dinner. Another big day featuring almost 3, m of descent and a few climbs surrounded by amazing landscapes. Today our journey will take us under the majestic presence of the Marmolada. Our adventure begins along a fascinating singletrack that gracefully undulates at altitude under the gaze of the Marmolada with its glacier. This exhilarating ride will lead us to a cozy hut, where we will stop for coffee and cake. After crossing one of the most remote areas of the Dolomites we will arrive at Alleghe, where we will have another, long and thrilling downhill ride. The Rifugio offers a fine dining experience, accompanied at will with one of the excellent wines on the menu. Beyond that, guests can enjoy the unforgettable views surrounding Cortina d'Ampezzo, framed by its impressive mountain scenery. At the hut we can also do our laundry. After tackling challenging downhill sections, a longer climb hike-a-bike will take us to the picturesque Federa lake. Now an exhilarating descent will take us to Cortina d'Ampezzo, known as the jewel of the Dolomites. After a pleasant stroll through the town center and a delicious lunch, we will board a cable car for another fantastic descent. Finally, we take a lift up to our cozy mountain hut, which awaits us beneath the impressive rock faces of Monte Cristallo. Here we will once again enjoy a tasty homemade dinner. In the morning we will move to the iconic peaks of Tre Cime di Lavaredo Drei Zinnen , unique rock towers with impressive north faces. After taking the obligatory photos, an outstanding singletrack descent among breathtaking views awaits us. Then another shuttle ride will take us to the picturesque village Sesto, where we will ride a couple of fun trails before ending our journey by returning to Val Gardena.
