Other than a package of cookies with a beverage choice offered soon after take-off, and a beverage choice shortly before landing, no other food choices were offered. Everyone slept or rested for most of the trip. Nothing to rate. RE Entertainment: Everyone was sleeping most of the flight. Only saw one passenger watch about 30 minutes of entertainment on his iPad. I never attempted to access any entertainment options. Was not aware that Aer Lingus was like the cut-rate services in the states, with no food or beverage other then 3. Was a great flight, but not much in the way of services. The push to purchase duty-free beauty products was off-putting. We couldn't talk to aer lingus we had issues with the flight change and aer lingus made us talk to kayak. Amenity kits were never handed out. There was zero friendliness and assistance by crew. Food was uneatable. One drink was offered and no wine, with dinner or before or after. Cocktails and beverages were not encouraged and when I asked for water, none was given. Probably my favorite airline and way to go to Europe. Everything went smoothly! Food was tasty, crew was pleasant. Really cannot complain! Garbage airline. I didn't get my exit row seat I paid for. Food was horrible. Plane was hot and didn't have AC vents. Great customer service. Frequent updates from the pilot. Smooth flight. Good entertainment. Meal service. The first leg of my 2 flights were delayed, causing me to miss my second flight and have to stay the whole night in Dublin. Super upset with this experience, and I still need to figure out how to get compensated for this. The flight got us safely from point a to point b and on time. For a transatlantic flight that isnt nothing. Flight crew was kind and professional. Actual flight was smooth but we were delayed 70 minutes. Flight was delayed into Munich causing a missed connecting flight and other missed bookings. Not good. A major problem at the Frankfurt terminal. You see your connecting flight is on concourse A and you see signs for A, but when you start to walk out to A, only then do you find A is in another terminal which requires a bus ride, passport control and customs. If you sit around in the first terminal too long, you can miss your flight. We made ours. Connecting from Germany with not enough time to go thru TSA and security so many times. I made it with 5 min before my zone was called. Too stressful. It was good overall. Entertainment was ok, one of the TV screens had issue. Bit old plane but leg space was good. Overhead luggage had good space. The worst part was experience at Heathrow airport, it was total chaos. Comfortable, pleasant staff, quiet, good entertainment, food, drinks. Better than American flight back when we were crammed in and staff sometimes indifferent. I was disappointed with the quality of the food and the fact that I was not given a toiletry bag for an overnight international flight. Paid for business class. It was burning up the entire flight. For a 7 hr flight, after the first few hrs. The crew disappeared. Poor service. One frustration after another. No gate personnel until very close to departure. Boarding procedure was chaos. Plane was dirty from previous transatlantic flight. Entertainment system not operational. Gate change for connecting flight which required another round of security clearance, almost causing a missed flight. The final blow was lost baggage upon arrival. CVG to London was a good flight. Thank god the plane was not full. We arrived in London 10 minutes early. Had it not been for handicap assistance I would have missed my connection. Had it not been for the extra 10 minutes because we landed early I would have missed my flight. Not the airlines fault but I never want to miss a flight because of the blunder in London. Sorry British Air but your home needs better management. After boarding, take off delayed 45 minutes with us just sitting there. I think this a Heathrow problem.
