Beaches are fabulous, water sports reasonably priced at Koukounaries beach as are the beach bars, take note that there are no toilet facilities at Maratha beach. Views from this hotel are something special. This is probably the worst quality we have ever had for a 4 star establishment. This definitely needs improvement. We considered having dinner at the hotel but because of the breakfast and the limited choice for evening meal we took our custom elsewhere. Also, the catering and bar staff were not as welcoming as other places we have stayed in Greece during the past 5 years and I would suggest training needs to be improved in this area to make guests feel more welcome. In contrast the reception staff were first class in all respects. Excellent reception staff particularly Irini who was so helpful from our arrival until departure. Breakfast appalling unless you like powdered scrambled egg, synthetic concentrate juices, unripe fruit, terrible coffee or weak tea, low quality bread and pastries. All done on the cheap. The hotel has potential but you feel that they are trying to squeeze every last cent out of it by providing the cheapest and poorest quality product. Given they can do little about the rooms but at least provide a decent breakfast! Loved the location, just so perfect. The staff were very attentive, always at hand to help with anything that we needed. Everything functioned so smoothly. Just an amazing stay. Staff, very rude, unpolite and not professional! When we arrived the whirlpool was empty and dirty, not useable! When we asked the next dat to clean and fill it up with water they filled it up alright but not clean it, so we could still not use it! The next day they cleaned it up and filled it with water, ready to be used! Same with the softer pillows and matrassses! Maintenance men came to fix some curtain rings without using the door bell, came in! No room service menu available in the information folder! No prices available for the mini bar! No copy of the charge when the mini bar was re filled again. Staff was very rude. From the reception, poolbar, room service you name it! Except for the guy who filled the mini bar daily and the mades that made our room! Even talked to the general manager only thing he could offer was a night at the restaurant, charged for free!
