But gets a full 5 stars from me because of its location, staff and price. A fridge was brilliant to have but this was in the lower floor room. Show more. Twin Apart Hotel. This hotel is my favorite in Alanya. After renovation it just became briliant. Here is everything you need in the beautifull apartments. The staff i friendly and helpfull and the area is very good. I stayed at this hotel many times during last 7 years and I cannot recoment this place enough Show more. Artemis Princess Hotel. Reading all the reviews, we were very dubious about booking this hotel, because it wasn't for the British tourist and almost everyone was Russian. But we booked it anyway and loved every second, yes the Russians cheat the queues, yes they storm the restaurant for breakfast dinner and fight for snacks at the pool bar, and take 2 or 3 plates of food to the table, but they don't live like us so don't expect them to act like us then. We talked to them in English and broken Russian, and quickly won their friendship, we were invited to their tables to eat and drink together, they were so hospitable, so don't be put off, just get to know them. The hotel itself is fine, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, with new towels every day and the beds are made up to look like elephants one day or covered in rose petals. Though the food more suits the Russians there's always something there to eat, the pool is big enough and we always managed to find empty sunbeds, the Russians even took their towels off to free one for us in the sunniest part of the pool area. As a bonus the hotel is right in the centre of the town with shops restaurants bars and excursions all around you, we used Patriot tours opposite the hotel, good prices and he speaks great English. Kleopatra Celine Hotel. This hotel was an ok choice. We had a side view but so close to the hotel next door we could almost shake hands with their guests. No kettle for tea making etc. Housekeeping every 2or 3 days. Staff all pleasant. Big shout out to Celine,Mustafa and Hassan at the bar. Cooked in every variation. Bit too much of it on the menu. No sliced bread, juices very dilute and don't know what a poached egg is. Hotel is right on the beach. Nice promenade into town. Pool area very nice. All new. Nice sitting in front terrace people watching while having a nice drink. Drinks ok. Nice that they open fresh bottles for them and not post mix. I taught them how to make Sangria. Spa ok. No beach towels to even hire,so take your own. All in all a fair time. Will we return. My wife and I stay in this hotel for a 8 days , we were so happy with everything. My special thanks to animation team and the manager mr ARİF. We will defiunetly be back. A11 hotel is the best. Kleopatra Tower Suite Hotel. Stayed at Kleoptra tower hotel Alanya for 2 weeks, just got home yesterday, my mother and myself stayed here in a shared apartment, we asked for a sea view which is exactly what we got, 8th floor right at the front of the hotel. Beautiful views across the main front towards the sea, clear visual of Alanya castle, and the sea horizon, what I will say the sun starts at 6am to the left of the balcony and finishes at 7pm at right of the balcony So I'd suggest a side or back room if your not partial to too much heat. The hotel itself is large open spaces very safely set with sanitizer stations on entry and lift and all floors. They have taken care to spread out areas that fit in with covid guidelines. Pool is large with babies pool too, open as normal beds spread apart 2 by 2 social distance. The cleaner comes everyday Staff all welcoming happy and helpful. Supermarket right underneath hotel - BIM I recommend this hotel for all it's very clean large rooms and lovely staff, thanks for looking after us in our stay. I was approached myself by a staff member on several occasions asking if he could do my trip advisor review on my phone. I found this hilarious and told him so, but it does now make sense reading all the previous reviews, that they are written in bad English and are so similar in content. It leads to a false impression of the hotel. The bar staff are unfriendly and quite rude at times, the alcohol drinks available are extremely limited and are of poor quality, the beer is ok but apart from that the wine is also poor. A lot of guests had their own bottles of alcohol and just used the mixers from the bar. The animation team do their best with limited resources but as I mentioned the reviews give a blinkered representation. The rooms are fine and are cleaned daily. There is air conditioning in the rooms but nowhere else in the hotel, so the reception and lobby area are always very stuffy. The WiFi is limited with no signal available in the rooms. The beach is a 10 minute walk but is really nice and worth a visit. The reception staff in particular Irina were very helpful, but I must mention the Reception Manager whom I found rude and actually a bit strange, he patrolled the pool area as if on a military operation, checking that room towels were not being used around the pool and had an irritating habit of putting his arms around you or touching your head, he did this to me on my first evening, which annoyed me greatly. The hotel staff in general did not seem happy to be working for the hotel, which is in contrast to all my previous visits to Turkey. The Turkish evening was really good with excellent food and entertainment. Despite the negatives we had an ok holiday but unsurprisingly will not be planning a return visit. Kleopatra Blue Hawaii Hotel. The room and bathroom were clean, modern. Beds are very hard. Shower, air con and tv all worked well. Great sea view on balcony we paid for city view, but could still partially see the beach between other hotels and stunning hills the other way Most tourists are German and staff at hotel spoke German and Turkish. Some of the staff spoke a little English. Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Tea and Dinner, was basic but great value for what we paid. There are a great number of good restaurants and bars nearby. Wifi worked well. The hotel pool is always in the shade and as it was unheated, was not popular with most guests, except us sunburned brits returning from the beach. Beach is 2 minutes walk away and sunbed vouchers are available at reception. Reception also helped get us a hire car to visit the many tourist sites in the hills behind the Alanya. I would stay here again if on a tight holiday budget. Ark Suite Hotel. Today is our last day at this great hotel, we fly back to England tonight. We have had another fantastic time at Ark Suite. We came last year for two weeks and had such a great time we decided to come for three weeks this time. I don't know where the time has gone, it feels like we have just got here. Cannot fault a single thing from the rooms, pools, food, to all of the staff all of whom are very helpful and speak good English. In relation to other nationalities, it is very diverse, however we have met many English people, along with Finish, Danish and a family from the Philippines no Russians. Everyone speaks to each other and if you take the time to get involved in the darts or the pool surfing games you will make quick friends - shout out to Pinocchio - superb entertainment manager who does an excellent fire show - thank you. Food obviously mostly Turkish - English breakfast can be had on the shopping strip just before the beach - delicious 35 lira filled us up until tea time. What more could you want from a holiday, still an excellent hotel Diamore Hotel. Hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable. Location is pretty good, it's on Ataturk boulevard and I would recommended it for people who like lively places. Food is great and there is something for everyone to enjoy. Staff is very nice and friendly but also professional. I had great time over there and I would recommend going to Alanya and staying at this hotel Show more. I was in this hotel twice in two months!. This hotel has absolutely everything you need for a perfect vacation. It is licated just a ten minutes walk to the city center and has own, very well-kept beach and a large pool with bar. The rooms are neat, clean and disinfected and the food varied and very tasty. A special emperor gives this hotel the care of quests. Mr Sezgin and his staff take care of everything and fulfill your every wish. You can enjoy in romatic dinner at the beach or spend your time in amazing spa center! You will experience special pleasure through animation during the day and in the evening. Thank you so much DJ Haribo and Bora for unforgettable gatherings and evenings. My stay at the hotel would not have been possoble without help of the General manager, so thank you very much. I will come back again for sure! Miray Hotel Kleopatra. My wife and I regularly frequent alanya and wanted to experience the different environment closer to Kleopatra beech. The hotel is placed excellently very close to the beach close to all shops and bars and restaurants. The pool is always clean and a sun trap. The staff were very polite courteous and friendly, house keeping staff ran a tight ship the room was always clean and stocked very well. Maids always eager to clean and present the room in any way you request. Even though the hotel is dated in todays comparison I believe it would loose its vibe and cuteness. The cost of the hotel is unbelievable I can guarantee you will not find better in Alanya period. Only draw back was avoid the fourth floor if you can early hours of the morning they set the restaurant up for breakfast which is on the fifth floor above gets very noisy and wakes you up. Above all a great gem in the best location, time to book floor two this time Would defiantly recommend this place. Labranda Alantur. We had booked a weeks stay at an all- inclusive package at the hotel and we both thoroughly enjoyed the hotel! It was fairly clean and there were sanitisation places right across the lovely hotel and its gardens and beach! We checked in , all have to wear face masks in the Reception area. One receptionist , I think called Zeynap - short brown hair checked us in and wads really very lovely with her manner and interaction with us.. We had a bungalow which were great in size and had a lovely balcony but I have to say, too noisy as theres a main road that runs along the hotel and theres traffic at all times plus, exceptionally noisy corridor traffic with residents. They were soooo hospitable and accommodating of peoples needs- they all work soo hard and deserve every penny! The gardens are kept immaculate by a lovely garden team and its a beautiful well kept site The doctor on site a gorgeous Turkish Paramedic, AJ speaks English and was soooo compassionate and affable with us God bless her! There is a hair salon and parlour on site, a clothes shop and 2 great pools Do deffo head out into Alanya - they have amazing cafes, bars and restaurants and of course, ample shopping! Theres a superb bazaar on Friday till late- deffo pop by.. We found a super place called Paradise Piknik which is set in the lake with traditional! Migros is a 15 minute walk away and we made the 50 minute walk into Alanya centre from the hotel which is doable but boy we were tired! Deffo consider the hotel! Floria Beach Hotel. Stayed for a week with family. The staff at the hotel were amazing, always polite and welcoming. The hotel is small and very well run. Very clean and the AI system works well. The standards are very high on the food with plenty of options for veggies as well. There are free sun beds and umbrellas there too, along with staff to help with putting up umbrellas and getting drinks. The sea when we were there was a little rough getting in and out but super warm and great fun. Not ideal if you have very young ones but teenagers and above absolutely brilliant fun. If you want to stay up till 4am dancing, this is not the hotel to do it in. If however you want a great hotel with good food, attentive staff on the beach and clean I would recommend it. We visited the Dim caves and not far from there there are restaurants on the Dim river where you can eat with tables in the river. Although it was red hot 35 degrees and the sea was lovely and warm the river was freezing! Thank you for a lovely stay: Show more. Blue Heaven Apart Hotel. The transfer from the airport was approx 2 Hours, Arriving early evening the greeting was super friendly from Karen, We were given room and our friend's were on level 3. The pool area and pool itself was kept absolutely spotlessly clean, The sunbeds were washed every morning, The cleanliness of the pool checked throughout the day, My wife often commenting that it was one of the consistently cleanest pools she has swam in over the years. There is no pressure from the Blue Heaven staff to eat at the hotel, Karen will even recommend restaurants in the local area. The girls wanted to visit a hamman for a pampering session, Karen arranged for a session Ladies only at Vita Bella a 15 minute walk from Blue Heaven, The girls returned 2. Our friends had only booked a 10 day stay and were gutted that we had another 8 days of Blue Heaven hospitality. The holiday season coming to an end didn't detract from what Blue Heaven offers, As the number of guests dwindled the impeccable service of all who worked for Karen never dipped. How does the hospitality get any better we asked ourselves Thank You All. If there has to be a negative Enjoy the holiday in India Karen, A well deserved rest much needed. May Flower Apart Hotel. We stayed here from the 27th July to August 10th. It was 2am we finally arrived after a 2 hour transfer. We checked in and went and found a restaurant for something to eat. Luckily there was one over the road from the hotel. The hotel was very clean, modern and very comfortable. It was cleaned every day and clean towels every other day. It was a very busy town and the hotel was central to everywhere. The beach was about a 15 minute walk. We had a taxi the first day and they charged us 30 TL there and back. The second day the clock in the taxi said 12 TL. We walked everyday after that. The beach is a shingle beach and the sea is very rocky also very slippery. Take your beach shoes these will help. They charge 15TL for 2 beds and the umbrella. I would also recommend to change your currency in the UK you get a better rate. We loved Alanya , the food we found some amazing restaurants the people were very friendly. Also the weather 40c very hot. Hotel Kaptan. Reception; Very friendly staff, and Mustafa was on his toes to make us happy and satisfied. Room; Very plain, but functional. Missing a good chair. Had to sit or lay on the bed. Housekeeping; In general, quite good cleanliness. The Maid had to do three floors of rooms. Pool; The area was dirty, with most of the beds covered with bird droppings. Not inviting. In general, good food, but lacked a broader choice. Location; Is great, with a great view over the harbour from the balcony, and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Wifi; Varied a lot, and caused some long periods without connections. Mustafa took care, and gave us the cooling ability back. In closing; Helpful and friendly staff, good location and functuality. Elegant Baronessa Apart Hotel. The hotel is reasonably priced, spacious accommodation, comprising of comfortable twin bedded bed room with air conditioner, bathroom with shower, living room with TV, fridge, cooking facilities and utensils. Overall the hotel was very clean with excellent food, wifi, very friendly and helpful staff, who spoke extremely good English. Situated close to shops, restaurants, bus stops and all amenities, tour agents for boat trips and many beautiful and historical sites. The beach is five minutes walk and includes free access to sun loungers, refreshment are also available. I stayed here for three nights in August as a solo traveller and chose this hotel based on it's location. It couldn't have been more perfect, literally minutes from the beach, the cable car up to the castle, the museum, caves and about a 15 minute walk to the other side of the castle outcropping and the harbour area. Turkey is very hot in August so I was grateful that I could pop in and out all day and bask in the beautiful air-conditioning! The welcome was great, the check-in easy and all the staff friendly, well turned out and with name badges. The room was lovely, clean, nice linens, decent shower, plenty of towels which is a bug-bear when you travel alone, for some reason many hotels think that if you are the sole occupant of a double room you only need one bath towel and right above the street so perfect for people watching from the balcony and not at all noisy, as you might expect. The food was tasty, with a range of salads and a hot buffet , also a grill chef cooking whole sea bream one day, marinated chicken the next and fresh mackerel the third. Perfectly cooked fish.. Unfortunately I couldn't get a late check-out since it was a big holiday the day that I left, but the staff were happy for me to use the pool, eat, and drink in the bar until finally got picked up at half past nine at night. The only negative thing I can think of was that though the vodka shots were large, the fresh coffee was scarce and fresh juice non-existent. All in all though, I thought the hotel, was excellent value and I would definitely stay again, despite being the only English guest there I think! Okan Tower Apart Hotel. We have just returned from enjoying 10 nights at the lovely Okan Towers. So the things we loved; It's close to the beach- just about 10 min walk. It's close to the centre without being too close that you have the noise. Leads me on to say its quiet peaceful yes there is a minaret but goodness sake you are in Turkey We had opted for the room with the extra space - was definitely worth it as gave us the bigger balcony and room was a decent size. Room was spotlessly clean- ladies came round every day to change towels etc. Everything needed in room was there - kettle hairdryer etc. Pool was good size with nice slides. No silly early morning towel shenanigans. Free air conditioning Staff very friendly- any problems the hotel manager sorted it straight away. Paid small amount for late check out to accommodate late flight. Sea view from our room - we were on the 6th floor. Entire place had a very friendly relaxed atmosphere. Only small snag - the place is advertised as having bar and restaurant but it doesn't. We would have liked the opportunity to purchase maybe a sandwich at lunchtime. Most guests popped up to their rooms or to the shop to buy icecream. But in all honesty that was the only downside. But in all fairness they didn't mind you bringing in food from outside to the pool area. Would I recommend? Yes most definitely. Would i go back? Yes most definitely: Thank you Okan towers for a great holiday. This was our first stay in the Blue Diamond Alya hotel. Rooms a re well equipped, cleaning is being done daily, the hotel provides bottled water daily for the room as well. There is a good supply of shampoo, conditioner etc in the room. Wi-Fi coverage is excellent in the whole building not only at reception area. Beach is located about 50m away from the property. This hotel would not suit families with children, which suited us as we are a mature couple. The restaurant has a good selection of dishes, sometimes is obvious when some ingredients are defrosted, but on a general note the food is of a decent quality. It means a lot. All staff speaks English and German. Nothing has changed during our stay. It is a real shame that some staff members are bringing the reputation of such a lovely place down. Best regards, Vladimir. Oba Time Hotel. We have just got back from Turkey, we booked last minute a sales ref sent me the info about Oba Time Hotel, I read the reviews and most of the reviews was good. So I decided to give it a try. I will be totally honest in this review because I know how important reviews are and people rely on them. This review is long but I tried to cover everything. We complained to the manager about 2 of the staff, but to be honest he didn't seemed bothered. We would go back to Turkey in the same area but not at that hotel again. Patricia from West Midlands. Gallion Hotel. Nice hotel and nice staff excellent food! Service was brilliant and we have never eat a lobster such like this. Gonna be there again as soon as possible.. And going to try some other main courses for the next time.. Sure with a bottle of wine Show more. Acar Hotel. I've heard many things about Acar Hotel, some good, some bad, but I have to say that my experience was entirely positive. I went for ten days this May and, as someone who has not been abroad for over a decade, I couldn't have asked for more. I didn't spend too much time at the hotel as I wanted to visit Side, Manavgat and Aspendos, as well as Cleopatra Beach, all of which are really close to the hotel , and ten days was the perfect amount of time. I had a single bed and a double bed in my room so I could alternate! There was a 'do not disturb' thing for my door, so I could decide when the cleaners did or didn't come. They changed the towels, toilet rolls and bedding frequently, always arranging everything perfectly. They were also very polite. I was also very clean, and the bedding smelled lovely. You get a hairdryer, slippers, bars of soap, a kettle, cups and saucers, Turkish tea, some sachets which I think were for cappuccinos , sugar and three bottles with water, flavoured-water and orange juice , TV but the only English channel is BBC World News, which is to be expected , fridge, bathmat, blankets, flannels and other towels. The food was buffet-style, with breakfast, lunch and dinner served at regular intervals everyday, as well as an outside snack bar with a chef ding kebabs and burgers and little biscuits and bits of fruit available all the time. Everything but the ice creams and spirits like for cocktails was free, and the Efes beer really is fantastic it's just a pity that I can't find it anywhere in England! The cocktails really were special -- they bring them out with sparklers and umbrellas and everything. The food was very varied, with eggs, chicken, fish, rice, loads of beautiful salads, fruit, cereal, soup, bread, pasta, spaghetti, noodles, pork, burgers, chicken nuggets, sauces and chips. You really won't want for anything, and you can alternate what you have each day. The desserts were lovely as well and there was baclawa. For all the people who have said that it's repetitive or whatever, I really don't know what you expected for such a low price. The hotel itself is really close to the beach, and I could see the sea from my balcony. There are two lifts, inside stairs and fire-escape stairs. The big pool is 5'3' deep and is super clean and big enough to have a good swim, and there is also a little children's pool which I think is 40cm deep ; it's great to just dip your toes in if you're a bit pool-shy. There were a few stray cats wandering around, but they were perfectly pleasant and seemed accustomed to humans. Above the canteen and the bar is the terrace bar, which is where most of the entertainment takes place. There was a belly-dancing show one night which was amazing and there were also mini discos. Music-wise, it tended to be the same things such as 'Hotel California' and many film soundtracks -- I now know all of the moves to Tarkan's 'Simarik'! The music Show more. Panorama Hotel - All Inclusive. We chose this hotel because its location. It has private pool and beach with designated beds, so we felt very comfortable. We took 7-day all inclusive offer and we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also on the bar by the beach they have the bar where they can also serve food, from - omelettes, salads, Italian pizza and Turkish Pizza. The breakfast - lunch - dinner are buffet type and the varieties are endless. They cook a lot of food, for all the tastes and for everyone. POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THE FOOD: the food comes in varieties for everyone, the dinner is amazing, they cook the Turkish meat with spices and it tastes just great, during dinner the chef comes and greets people, which is very cool, during breakfast you can have omelette or roasted egg made just in front of you by the sous-chefs, the waiters are very kind people and they try to speak to you in your native language, they serve with drinks all the time. Turkish tea is very tasty and it is served in traditional cups. The variety for deserts is very nice, they had cakes, jellies, baclava and rahat lukum. The menu was predefined, so we could not chose and the option was 'Asian dinner' - the soup was not great at all, full with starch, it looked like a reheated jelly, it was sushi in the menu, but we did not get it, the aperitif was just three little spring rolls images attached , the salad was said to have fish this was also missing and the main dish was also without Asian flavor. Unfortunately next day I had a rush on both of my hands, but it was nothing serious. I trully believe it is from this, because I was eating food from the buffet for 5 days and I felt great and after this meal I was dispaoointed by their 'a la carte' option. What we think is that they should cook traditional Turkish food only, because it is just great, packed with taste and not try to approach other cuisines. If you order capuccino, you receive what they call 'white coffee', which is instant coffee with instant creamer. If you order espresso you get 'black coffee' - instant coffee. The Turkish coffee is not for free in there, so you have to pay. They are very nice people, Show more. Ipek Apart Otel. Everyone should try the food at ipek, the food is the best i have tastes in Alanya you can actually taste that the food is made with love!! Enjoy your meal!! Kleopatra Hermes Hotel. I stayed for three days. Healthy food: brown rice, couscous, beautiful turkish soups, fresh vegetables, fruits only watermelons , no dessert though, coffee mashine, jogurt salads, breakfast: boiled eggs, boiled sausage with beef, milk, corn flakes, simple. I was spending time on the beach, which is only across the road. Also went further near the cliffs, good spot for snorkling. Then I went to the mountain area's. Just walking up and enjoying the views but be carefull to be ready physically and have enough water. A corner shop worth your jiffy Alaaddin Beach Hotel-Adults Only. We arrive late at night it was so cold when we got take to our room we noticed how clean it was but really cold we tried to switch the heater on but it wasn't working nothing was in the mini bar not even swicthed on, not even their internet. It was round We came back and asked the guy at the reception he told us everything is closed nothing is available. It was so upsetting we thought we would need to eat crisp and drink coke and go to bed what a crap night. The porter asked the receptionist what happen in their language and he told us to wait the gentleman went to the kitchen and got us 2x plates of mezzes with bread. We was so grateful it was a lovely gesture. We slept with our tummy full thank you so much. The next morning we went for breakfast it was decent but because there wasn't enough people staying breakfast was kept to a minimum. Slowly people was starting to check in hotel started to get busy. Dinner is included in the half board but a money making scheme drinks wasn't included to eat your dinner included in half board you have to order a drink at dinner and pay for it. From the start of my stay they was making so much noise fixing the beds and cutting up the woods. It was a shamble. We noticed how they was also greeting customer with drinks on the 4th day. We didn't get a welcome drink we had to ask for something to eat. They need a manual with places to eat after 12am and sort out the internet we had to ask about it everyday as the coverage was crap. It's and adult hotel but there was the owners kids crying and running around. The pools water was freezing cold. Im sure you know people are coming to the hotel and what date everything should be sorted out before their arrival. The hotel is beautiful though. Its clean. We always stay at Lavinia when in Alanya. Very nice and friendly staff, and the pool area is wonderful. The rooms have not been renovated for some years, but the beds are really comfortable and the cleaning service is very good. If you are missing something, the staff will fix it for you without problem. If you are looking for a hotel you will come back to again and again, look no further, this is it! The staff is helpful with everything, from transfer to airport to calling restaurants for free pick up service. The food in the kitchen at Lavinia is delicate and tasteful! We recomend this place!! Cleopatra Golden Beach Hotel. We truly made the right choice for our vacation. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Management and staff definitely went out of their way to make this a pleasant stay for us. I love the food absolutely delicious. We love the location absolutely close by everywhere you are center of everything. Hotel has a spa which Is my favorite.
