Just stayed for a week. Really enjoyed it. Room was good. Food was lovely. Any issues we had were solved quickly!! Entertainment team were good. Staff were generally helpful and polite. All were very good with the kids in our group. Had a sunset photoshoot and the pictures were beautiful. And Oscar who does the photos was so helpful when our disk was broken on the flight home. Which was quite pointless as we were all close to our hotel was by this time it seemed only for The benefits of the drive and his mates in the local shop. Only downside with the rooms was noise intrusion coming from the bathroom having a family of four and the adjacent room every time they flushed the toilet brush their teeth all doing anything else in the bathroom and you heard it very clearly even with the bathroom door shut. And also noise from the corridor outside your room with unruly children playing running iand guests being rather loud without any consideration for anybody else, Housekeeping. All the general areas of the hotel were kept very clean. However not quite the same for your room, The bin was emptied every day and if lucky the towels were changed daily but the floors were never sweat surfaces cleaned every mirror in the room at the same smears and smudges from the day of arrival til we left, which was a bonus some mornings before my face fell back into place Also if you are a light sleeper the call to prayer at the local mosque may wake you up having experienced this in middle eastern countries after the first morning it was okay Restaurants. The food in the hotel restaurant was actually much better than I was anticipating after the reviews I had read the food was of a good quality which was surprisingly. With plenty of choice but like any all-inclusive after more than a week it comes a little repetitive but could always find something to eat. Clearly for some of the guests eating in a restaurant that involved using cutlery was a whole new experience for them however. It was a bit of a free for all trying to find a table with a set of cutlery on it most times if you're lucky you found one. The waiting staff or a mixed bunch with some real miserable beggars who would happily walk past empty plates repeatedly what others are really good and we quickly clear your plates away and relay the table. After being recommended by the guest relations manager at the hotel Service here with an absolute nightmare at PM only two of the four main courses being available. We saw three other sets of gas complaining about this when I received the wrong food and their complaints purchase met with strokes of shoulders and I just got up and left the restaurant so I'm happy. The pools. The polls on the slides are very good and very good if you have children or a big kid like myself however it can be very slippery around the Pools so beware. The spa was very good. The Turkish bath was a Great way to start your holiday if you want to good tan. Bars and drinks. Not a great selection string but you could find something to drink and taste for most people however the staff again could be quite rude depending on the bar you were using but the bar by the Hotel reception the staff there were always very very polite location. What a great deal around the hotel apart from other hotels and local market shops, we can buy yourself a bargain of counterfeit knock off goods and practice your bartering and haggling also cheaper than the hotel shop. You can go to Alanya by bus or by taxi and we did both. Who is a local taxi office a five minute walk down the hill from the hotel which we used. We were charged lire Of the meter into the town by the taxi driver and he said he would pick us up for lire. The taxi driver was very informative and told us about deals on excursions and restaurants if we wanted and also can you get us cocaine and local marijuana. Coming back to we got a taxi from the harbour on the meter and this only cost us 90 lire to come back. If you use a taxi it seems best to go on the meter. We also travelled by bus into Alayna. Which you picked up from the main road by the beach nine lire for two people each way and took 30 minutes and was okay Eftalia Island. You could take the tractor shuttle from the hotel to the island where you would find more slides and Pools on was next to the beach. This took about five minutes on the shuffle always around a 15 minute walk. Around the polls at the island was a little less frantic than being at the hotel there is also a quiet adults area where you can relax a little more. The animation team is to work hard but trying to make funny things translate across a number of languages doesn't work as it doesn't at many hotels but saying that the entertainment could still be amusing and also be amusing for how bad it was at times The animation team at the hotel were a lot friendlier than the island one I am would get you involved during the day in water polo and other Pool side games Also on the island there is a Piazza way you could sit with a drink and on summer evenings I would have some live music. The disco is from 11 till two in the morning but drinks in the disco on not all inclusive and you have to pay for those. The guests. There was a lot of overbearing over loud tattooed guests and the men were just as bad. Our holiday is always a treat and this was certainly the case for a lot of the guest and certainly new experience as I said earlier for some of the guest eating in a restaurant that involves using a knife and fork is a whole new experience for them and this really showed everywhere in the hotel. And that was guest from all different nationalities not just the British as we know we do like to complain. And yes I realise I have become quite a snob since staying here but we will appreciate the nice things in life Don't get me wrong my partner and I didn't have a bad holiday we had a nice holiday but I've certainly had a better and a lot of other places. This hotel has potential and if it was to improve its standards with its staffing this may attract a better quality of guessed as well. Which would be good for everyone at the hotel. If you want to experience all inclusive for the first time and have a family who enjoy waterslides and being around the Pool this hotel is for you. Having stayed in many different hotels around the world this hotel is Certainly not a five star hotel just scraped in to be a four but could be so much better. I'm really disappoint and not recommend this hotel. The food is terrible. Their food hygiene is ridiculous. The beach was dirty and had far at least 2km - from the hotel. Not once have we had our fridge refilled like it states in the room package. Entertainment is absolute rubbish bingo was a sham and really loses the hotel down. I rate this hotel 4 star. We had a great time and are a family of 2 adults and 5 kids ranging from 6 months to 12 years. If you're late to breakfast or dinner then u really have to hunt your own rather than sitting there waiting, always some to be found but sometimes frustrating. Brits I spoke to moaned there were too many foreigners in the hotel yeah go figure , hated the food, moaned about the staff, the drinks, the slide times, moaned about the transfer, moaned their teenagers were bored, moaned about the beach, the rooms the list goes on!! So my advice would be if u want a good holiday and English people want to talk to you - pretend you're from somewhere else! I had to ignore people in the end ;-. Positives:- So many as it really is a great holiday. The water slides are amazing, my kids were in heaven. Of course they want your money and will haggle for everything but it's all light hearted and a laugh. There is always pizza, pasta, rice, burgers, nuggets, spicy chicken wings, salad and even jacket potatoes for those that only like English food. If people complain about the food when there is choices as far as the eye can see then I possibly think a trip to a dietician on return to the uk for advice is necessary! There is also a pizzeria at the island and 5 a la carte restaurants and 2 at the hotel. We chose Mexican and Italian which were lovely. There are also ice lollies available at the island behind the kids splash area. Wolf who touts for business is great and only charged us for 3 people - there's 7 of us, gave 2 eldest kids half price and 3 youngest ones free! Alanya is well worth a visit and boat goes there as well as 3 swim stops and lunch and drinks on board included. The 7 seater taxi was 30 lira each way so not bad at all, a tip ensured we were picked up after ;-. A great holiday had by all. My advice - a tip goes a long way, steal tea bags if u find any to make sure u can have a cuppa each morning or take your own, don't succumb to the British moaning and remember you're on holiday people so ENJOY!
