Comment by Lichie91 For Alliance: When running to Stonetalon Mountains from Ashenvale, through the cave in the south, just outside of it was a gnome with three hand-in quests that only I as a warrior could turn in. I needed the three pieces of Dragonslayer attire to complete them. Perhaps after turning in all three you get a rune? By reading through the earlier comments it seems as though one piece is in Shadowfang Keep, from Commander Springvale? Have yet to confirm the end result myself. Hope it helps. In the caves just west of Kharanos, I got the Wendigo Paw as listed above for rune fragment three, rune fragment two came from turning in a Troll Head that dropped in Frostmane Hold for me and fragment number one came from turning in a Pristine Trogg Heart that dropped from a Trogg Bonesnapper in the Gol'Bolar Quarry area. Combining these three fragments makes the full rune. I do not agree with the rune placement as the runes are noting more than bits of talents from your talent tree converted into a rune. I was expecting to see something completely different. What I was hoping for was that the runes are universal and could be placed in any socket within your talent tree and NOT in your gear.. Plus I think the runes should have been better designed as to where they can be placed. IE: Just learn about the head or helm rune which Shield Mastery. Why on earth would one place a shield rune in one's helm.. Someone needs to recalculate a better system for placement. But as I said above,..
