Verified Purchase. This game is hugely addicting. It's alot of fun but there's alot of problems with the quest system. I also feel that many tasks, especially the event ones are very difficult to achieve, especially without spending real money to buy in-game crystals to help. This game has alot of potential, but needs more variety. There's just not enough reward to make it worth any effort. Alot of quests are to build or upgrade a building. So now, I just don't build anything unless the game tells me to. Landmark Quests: If I buy land with a landmark, I expect to be able to complete the quest line in a timely manner so I can get the bonus reward. This has been an impossible task for me. Do not let me start a quest line that I do not have the level for! Event Quests: Boring, repetitive or not enough time. Difficult tasks that are time limited unless you use alot of in-game crystals bought with real life money. The most recent was the 4th of July. I spent as much time as I could which is actually a fair amount as I am currently unemployed doing everything necessary mainly collecting rockets, which you can only collect when you have energy, which is gradually refilled every few minutes so you are limited to waiting. Next year, I will have to do the entire thing all over again to finish. Suggestions: 1. Do not let people start a quest line if they are not the right level for it! More mini game variety. More quest variety. Do not make us buy things we don't want, to complete a quest. I don't want 10 hotdog stands! I want my island to look how I want it to 7. Better reward system various rewards for participating in events even if we don't hit the end reward, don't make it all worth for nothing. Instead of costing money to destroy a structure, please give us 'sell back' money instead. Being forced to spend coin on a building I don't want for a quest, then spending money to destroy it afterwards to make room just isn't fair. Very fun to play and quite interactive! Paradise Island 2 seems to be a fun game to play, if it would stop kicking me out of the game and if it would stay online and save my progress. It doesn't save my progress but it keeps the money and other items required to play the game. Another problem with the game is; they have everything to too expensive from the start of the game. This forces the player to BUY with real money these items in order to continue playing. This takes the fun out of playing. The guide is constantly popping up, telling you that you don't have enough of whatever's required to progress. The game tells you to explore to get more items. The items are there only on the first trip exploring, then they are gone never to be seen again I have been playing Paradise Island for years. At least, the designers had made it where the players could make progress through the first part of the game without getting their banker involved. However, with each upgrade they make the game seems to require more real money or it will take you forever to make progress. At least you can make progress without buying everything. However, the side games stopped giving me the rewards I won. OI2 doesn't seem to offer ways to gain what you need without buying the items. They do have a person on the beach who has a side-game of Match the Items but each time I try to play the side-game, I get kicked out of the game. Then when I log back in, I discover that I have lost all the progress I had made before being kicked. It seems that the people who make these G games have turned into very greedy people. I dare not allow my grandchildren to play these games or they will put me in the poorhouse. Yeah, I know these people make their living making these games, but they don't need to nickel and dime the rest of us to death because we want to play their games. If things don't start improving I'm going to start deleting the G games I have and never download any more of their games. Come on G people, give us a break. This game is fun to play! But the updates are a disaster. Tells you that your playing a older version but there is nothing to update very frustrating. They have a could have a good game here if they didn't use such pitiful practices to get you to spend money. I think people would spend money on the game even if they didn't use hard sell phrases such as Who cares! These are strangers you're playing and why do you need their respect! To the game managers This is a good game without shaming people into spending money. You already make it so that if you don't spend money it takes forever to build anything. Crystals are few and far between and expanding land is millions of coin so it will take a very long time to raise that kind of coin. If you have a lot of patience, try the game. The contests are yet another way to get you to open your coffers. Also, they offer buildings that you can only get if you buy lots of expensive crystals. You can play without spend your hard learn cash but you will never have all the special things they offer if you spend. Play the game the way you want and don't succumb to the game managers low tactics and you'll be fine. Stop with the shaming tactics game managers. If you don't believe in the product without it no one else will either!
