We were upset to say the least and after pestering her further about a reimbursement she said we would have to wait until she dealt with all the other customers a long line of an hour or more and that she couldn't put us on the next few flights because they were full. Finally she let us borrow her phone so that WE could call customer service and try to deal with it. They of course gave us the run around and we still don't have a reimbursement and will likely never book with Copa airlines again. Hopefully after a few more phone calls we can eventually get reimbursed. Pros: 'the food'. They kept us till 2AM at the airport and made us take out all our luggage before taking us to a hotel. Then, there was a Flight leaving the same day at noon, but instead of acommodating us there, they made us wait till PM for the next flight. They told us that it was a direct flight as it was initially scheduled from Lima to La Paz, but that was not true as we had to stop in Santa Cruz first. To sum up, there was a hour delay in total. I was supposed to get to La Paz on Jan. No explanations were given, but it is clear that they oversold as all flights were full. Avoid this airline if you can. Pros: 'Having a vegetarian option'.
