Close to gondolas although they were not working the week we were there. The kitchen had most everything we needed to make meals each night. We loved the outdoor hottub and the ability to just walk out the door to downhill and xcountry skiing. The staff were all very nice and accommodating, providing us the ability to use the pool and hot tub before and after our check in and check out. I had also asked for a quiet room with a mountain view, which is what we were given. Lobby with constant fire also really nice. Quickly and efficently they rebooked me on the required dates free of charge. Hotel is grand and will visit again. Nice King size bed with luxurious bedding. Enjoyed a pleasant evening meal at Bistro Nordik. Great convenience store on-site that also served bagels for lunch. Coffee could be improved. All the staff we encountered were excellent. Bed was super comfortable. We were accommodated all requests early check in per availability, quiet room etc. We arrived in the morning and they gave all access to facilities pool, jaquzee, towels, parking etc. Until room was ready. No view: Looking at park cars. Big studio, recently remodelled, quiet. The check in manager was rude. Only negative. Poor bed pillow quality. Every well located Excellent restaurant indoor. The Hotel is beautiful and near by the ski resort. The restaurant is great and also the Little Store to buy and thing you left in home. Great for Snacks and drinks. King suite was good size for our family of four with teenager. We had a 'renovated' room. Think that means they changed the beds and carpet. The hotel was full of large groups with adolescents running around. Front staff was verging on hostile. Amazing location , ski rental and storage was very convenient and well set up. The bellman was very helpful. Skiing was great. Kitchen and bath could use some updating. No bathrobes for pool and hot tub. Location, pet friendly, pet doggie bag, wood burning fireplaces in lobby, easy access to the outside. Breakfast is not included and its cost on a high side. You need to order coffee or tea with a waiter. Sometimes a waiter forgot about the order or took too long to bring coffee. Once the waiter brought a pot with hot water, but forgot to bring tea packets. Good choice of food for buffet breakfast. It is served in a spacious restaurant with a good view. There are different kinds of rooms there, even 2 beds rooms are differ. All rooms have balconies, some balconies are quite roomy, but others are very narrow, one can only stand there, not enough space to put a chair. Clean and organized. The Signature Nordik 2 bedroom suite was completely renovated and beautiful. My family enjoyed the spacious comfortable living space mornings and evenings before and after skiing and the proximity to the gondola to a point where we were walking from our porch 10 yards onto the lift when heading out. The price of the rooms has risen dramatically over the last 3 years. They have been selling the hotel rooms as condominiums and the owners are using the units over the Christmas Break which seriously limits the supply, contributing to overall price increases.
