The COVID pandemic has accelerated a trend towards online shopping in Myanmar and many other countries, especially among those affected by lockdown orders. Netizens are turning to the internet for take-away, fresh produce, clothing, gifts, jewellery, toys, video streaming… but also, increasingly, narcotics.
