Two suspects were apprehended today 29 with kg of Kerala cannabis and a three-wheeler, during a special Navy search operation in the coastal area of Vaddukoddai, Jaffna. The cannabis were found whilst being transported in a three-wheeler whuch was stopped on suspicion. The confiscated load of cannabis is estimated to have a gross street value of more than Rs. The suspects being detained in this operation, aged 25 and 40 years, have been identified as residents of Madagal and Kilinochchi areas. Along with the three-wheeler and cannabis, they were handed over to the Vaddukoddai Police for further legal action.
