A parent recently asked me what I thought about those who are transgendered and I explained to her that I've known Kindergarteners who felt like they were in the wrong body...if a child of 5 or 6 can feel so strongly about this...well, you know all of this legislation comes from a place of not only pure hate but pure ignorance.
Trans Lives Matter is not just about bathrooms, though that legislation is also filled with hate and ignorance. But, Trans Lives Matter goes beyond that into providing a healthy society and supports for those who want to indeed be productive members of society-who have the right to be loved and respected. This world is big enough to welcome everyone. It's shameful that Trump has persecuted everyone but himself and his rich white friends. He doesn't have a clue what it might be like to be a decent human being.
