Cooperation areas in the field of startups with Japanese investors were discussed

On January 20, 2026, a meeting was held focused on developing cooperation in the fields of insurance, telematics technologies, and venture investments.

The meeting, headed by Akira Nakamura, was attended by representatives of the Japanese company "Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance," the Department for Analysis, Support and Coordination of State Policy for Small and Medium-Sized Business Development of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Venture Fund "UzVC," and startup founders.

During the meeting, participants discussed the possibilities of implementing telematics technologies based on advanced Japanese experience in ensuring road safety, applying innovative solutions in the insurance sector, and jointly implementing and supporting startup projects in these areas.

Furthermore, during the discussions, the parties paid special attention to improving insurance services based on digital technologies, enhancing security levels, and developing market infrastructure.

Additionally, views were exchanged on sharing professional knowledge and experience in implementing the tasks set at the meeting, enhancing personnel capabilities, and supporting innovative initiatives.

At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties agreed to collaborate on developing the sector, implementing promising projects, and establishing long-term cooperation.
