On August 28, 2024, the second day of the seminar titled "Business Model Canvas: Opportunities for Startup Development" was held at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the seminar, business consultant F. Jabbarov discussed the importance of customer segmentation. He highlighted that segmenting customers is a crucial factor when applying this model.

F. Jabbarov emphasized that customers are a fundamental component of any business model. For startups, segmenting their audience based on needs, behaviors, and other characteristics allows them to determine which customer groups to create value propositions for and identify their most important clients.

Additionally, business consultant Z. Umarov presented another vital aspect of the Business Model Canvas — the value proposition. The value proposition is a unique product or service designed to address customer problems and distinguish the startup from competitors.

Z. Umarov stressed that a value proposition should not only solve specific problems but also generate an emotional impact on customers. This emotional connection helps build customer loyalty and trust. An effective value proposition enables a company to stand out from competitors and attract the attention of its target audience, contributing to business growth and strengthening its market position.

Throughout the seminar, participants engaged in practical exercises focused on customer segmentation and developing value propositions for their projects and organizations. They also had the chance to discuss and exchange ideas with business consultants about developing startups and applying innovative approaches and methodologies from the Business Model Canvas in their current activities.
