Business Analyst (Payment Gateway)

Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and updating initial business requirements.
- Writing analytical documentation (scope of work, business requirements, tech requirements).
- Creating tasks for the development team.
- Supporting and advising testing and support teams.
- Analyzing customer requirements and assessing the feasibility of implementing the requirements, including market analysis (competitors' offers).
- Preparing CJM, userflow, sequence diagrams, and top-level architecture, decomposing the task into stories, features, and tasks.
- Preparing and writing Scope of Work, gap analysis, evaluation, and agreement with the stakeholders.
- Working with business stakeholders to understand the top clients’ needs and top products sold.
Requirements:
- Experience in financial services (specifically payments).
- Four or more years of relevant work experience or a Master's degree in a quantitative field with more than two years of experience.
- Ability to navigate between high-level strategic thinking and granular methods of problem-solving.
- Ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders and other project delivery resources, with a clear focus on the successful delivery of the change objectives.
- Knowledge of when to look outside the data to solve problems.
- Working knowledge of data and process modeling.
- Working knowledge of external and internal integration APIs (REST, SOAP).
- Writing CJM, userflow.
- Development of documentation (scope of work, business design requirements, tech requirements, guides).
- Understanding sequence diagrams and top-level architecture (mid+).
- Understanding the technical principles of data exchange.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, CSV, fixed width.
- Basic knowledge of SQL (would be a plus).
- Experience with BPMN (would be a plus).
Communication:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Other skills:
- Working with a large volume of tasks within deadlines, ability to prioritize them.
- Ability to work in a team.
