Senior IT Business Analyst - Finance & Dynamics 365
Would you like to join Amaris Consulting as a Senior IT Business Analyst supporting an international retail transformation programme?
You will support the Finance workstream within the global rollout of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce POS solution across multiple international markets. Working closely with Finance stakeholders and the POS Squad, you will help ensure that country-specific financial, tax and regulatory requirements are correctly reflected in the solution and its integrations.
👉 Your missions?
• Gather, analyse and document Finance business and functional requirements across international markets.
• Act as the Finance functional counterpart to the POS Squad, coordinating requirements and solution validation with business and technical teams.
• Analyse local tax, fiscal compliance, receipt, payment and transaction reconciliation requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Identify gaps between country requirements and the global solution, and support the definition of suitable solutions.
• Analyse interfaces and data flows between POS, Finance and other connected applications.
• Support functional testing, end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing to validate business processes and integrations.
• Support rollout readiness and maintain clear functional documentation throughout the programme.
✍️ Your profile?
• At least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting or a similar role
• Strong Finance background and understanding of financial processes, including payments, taxation and transaction reconciliation.
• Functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, particularly Finance-related processes.
• Experience supporting large international implementations or rollouts across multiple markets.
• Experience analysing system integrations, interfaces and data flows, with a working understanding of APIs and integration protocols.
• Strong requirements documentation skills and experience translating business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and supporting testing and solution validation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a global, remote environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce, Store Commerce or POS.
• Experience in retail, POS or e-commerce environments.
• Understanding of retail transactions, receipts, promotions, discounts and payments.
• Knowledge of Azure integration capabilities and services.
• Broader knowledge of the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
