The heat at Burning Man , which wrapped up Sunday, was no joke.
Between the scorching Nevada desert and the giant flaming effigies, there’s only one word to accurately describe the annual music festival slash “radical ritual”—hot.
Appropriately, some of the world’s most scorching beauties made their way to Black Rock Desert to let loose at the apocalyptic-themed hoedown. Alessandra Ambrosio spread her wings, Sara Sampaio and Jasmine Tookes looked fire in every sense of the word, and even Paris Hilton stopped by to join the fun. Now that’s hot.
And it doesn’t hurt that all of them are former Maxim cover girls.
Anywho, check out 10 of the hottest beauties to grace Burning Man this year. It’s just like having been there, except without getting any sand in your eyes.

Burning Man is so unique that it’s difficult to find the right words to describe it. It's a global culture, a way of living and a thriving city that participants build from scratch every year.
But it's also much more than any of these descriptors suggest. The best way to understand its principles of self-expression, creativity and community — besides attending in person, of course — is to see it depicted in photos or videos.
Burning Man returned in 2022 after a two-year hiatus, thanks to the pandemic. To say it was a hot (and pricey!) ticket to visit Black Rock City is an understatement. That's why some of us simply have to settle for these mindblowing images that provide another way to experience the otherworldly beauty and core tenets of this truly singular event.
The central fixture of Burning Man is "The Man" himself, a towering sculpture with a triangular-shaped face that's ceremonially burned at the end of each event.
The first sculpture was built in 1986 by Larry Harvey and Jerry James out of scrap wood, and was torched on Baker Beach in San Francisco.
That inaugural year, the sculpture was 8-feet tall; in more recent years, it's reached nearly 40 feet in height.

One of the guiding principles of the annual Burning Man festival is radical self-expression. Many residents of Black Rock City embrace this through the fashion they wear at the event.
A mix of practical essentials and fantastic costumes , you never know what or who you will see in the Nevada desert.
Burning Man "Doc Team" photographer Jane Hu shared some of her portraits of the participants at the festival with SFGATE. The arts festival took place from Aug. 28 to Sept. 5 in the Black Rock Desert of Gerlach, Nevada.
"I've always so inspired by what people are willing to bring out there, whether it's fashion or art," explained Hu. "It blows my mind what people can accomplish."
This year it was even more difficult for festivalgoers to show off their playa fashion with dust storms that lasted hours and extreme heat.
"People are in the most exquisite, interesting, creative outfits," said Hu. "I wish I had captured way more than what I was able to. I wish I could spend days just following people around and taking pictures of them. Because it's always like, 'Who are you? How are you able to do all this? And are you able to keep yourself clean and clean your clothes afterwards?'"
