Troy Williams has announced his resignation from the WWE in the wake of the highly publicized WWE Raw case.

His most recent video includes an appearance on Raw and a cameo appearance by a heel as they spar. The Raw storyline saw Daniel Bryan take Roman Reigns title, which was taken after the original release of Brock Lesnar. Reigns defended his title by bringing out his own King Of The Ring gimmick at the time.

Williams had previously expressed interest in working with WWE and the team but, following Vince McMahon s decision to go with Seth Rollins, he found himself working with both the company and WWE for the past two years as the Executive Producers and Pro Director, and had an opportunity to work with Bryan, who signed with WWE after the 2012 Fall Classic, on a new product with John Cena. At the time, WWE was promoting a Pay-Per-View.

According to Drew Barrymore, the WWE.com source, Williams has spoken in relation to many angles that could prove favorable to WWE.
