The owner of the Odessa company complains about the shortage of personnel and says that builders from Moldova are willing to go to Ukraine because of the high salaries.
According to him, tilers and painters can receive up to 3,000 euros there, which is three times more than at home.
At the same time, official statistics show a much smaller scale: in 2025, fewer than 400 work permits were issued to Moldovan citizens.
