For those anglers or adventurers who choose to sleep in, Buck Nasty Charters offers a 5-hour afternoon trip. It will depart at approximately 1:00 p.m. and return at approximately 6:00 p.m.
A combination trip consisting of bottom fishing and trolling.

Buck Nasty Charters would like to thank Chris, Paula, and Caleb for fishing with us today!! The bite was slow to start with but boy did it heat up with an awesome nearshore slam!! Flounder, gray trout and Spanish mackerel…… it’s what’s for dinner!!

Buck Nasty Charters would like to thank George, George, and Jeremiah for fishing with us today on a 8 hour trip! Lots of laughs and definitely lots of fish!!

Flounder,flounder,and more flounder!!

Buck Nasty Charters would like to thank Donnie, Valarie, and Kathryn for fishing with us today! We caught flounder after flounder with a couple of undersized cobia in the mix. Donnie hooked up on something very large that ultimately broke us off. It was still a great fight on a 4500 class reel! Flounder season is just around the corner.

Buck Nasty Charters would like to thank Josi for fishing with us today. Josi said his mother loved to fry ringtails whole and that she would take all we could get. We kept the bigger ones and left the rest for another day. We had a few keeper sea bass as well. It wasn’t the species that we were hoping for but Josi still had a blast!

Buck Nasty Charters would like to thank Jim and Griffin for fishing with us today. We stayed close to the beach and made the most with what Mother Nature gave us. We caught flounder, a trigger fish, Spanish, grunts, ringtails, oyster toads, and sea bass. Griffin said he had a great time catching a variety of different species and being out on the water!! Edited to add Jim’s baby cobia!!

Buck Nasty Charters would like to thank Mike, Liam, and Logan for fishing with us today. We caught a few smaller fish but managed enough for a family meal or two. The boys even sent me home with a little going away present. This is what happens when you take a 2 ounce thingamajig to the forehead. ?? There were schools and schools of albacore busting but we could only get one to eat. All in all I think everyone had a good time!!

Buck Nasty Fishing Charters is located in Emerald Isle. However, the crew also frequents the Morehead City area.
Capt. Tommy will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 5 hour trips, mainly fishing for Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Redfish, Seabass, Bluefish, and Dolphin, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 21’ Kencraft Challenger boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day.

Kencraft Challenger (Saltwater fishing) originally built in 2019. Powered by a 200HP Yamaha engine.

Cancel free of charge up to 14 days prior to your trip.

After this, you may only cancel free of charge in the event of unsafe weather conditions, captain-related issues, or extenuating circumstances.

Customers can cancel or modify their booking up to 14 days before the trip date free of charge. If the trip is canceled or modified later, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the deposit will be charged.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.

The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:

We came home with about 20 fish total, hit our limits and had to throw some back.
He also had a beautiful boat, top notch equipment and plenty of bait. I’d recommend anyone to go out on the waters with him whether you’re a family or group of friends. He’s born and raised in the area and knows the waters like nobody else.
Lastly he constantly checked to make sure no one was getting sea sickness and made sure we had everything we needed.
