When it comes to brunette actresses , there are hundreds in Hollywood. These women are talented actresses doing great work and inspiring the next generation of actresses. These beautiful women may have first gotten noticed thanks to their looks, but they are proving there is more than outside beauty.

We want to celebrate these women and what they have done for others during their careers so we’ve compiled a list of our favorite brunette actresses. We’ve highlighted some of the early greats, such as Audrey Hepburn, to contemporary favorites like Jennifer Aniston and Gal Gadot.
One of the highest-paid actresses in the world is also a beautiful brunette. Anne Hathaway has been on our screens for over two decades, with the American actress having won a Primetime Emmy Award for her voice role on an episode of The Simpsons as well as an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild, and a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress for Les Misérables .
Awards aside, Hathaway has a stacked filmography that entails films from all different genres. She is never afraid to try something different or take on roles many others wouldn’t. Some of her standout performances have come in the movies Brokeback Mountain , The Devil Wears Prada , Love & Other Drugs , Interstellar , and the TV series WeCrashed .
Gal Gadot has done a lot in a short time. The model and actor was crowned Miss Israel 2004 at the age of 18. She then did her two years of mandatory service in the Israeli army as a fitness instructor. After her training, she got into the world of modeling before making her film debut in Fast & Furious as Gisele Yashar.
She would reprise her role of Yashar in a further two Fast and Furious movies before being cast as Wonder Woman. She has starred as the Amazonian warrior in four films so far (two solo movies and two Justice League movies) and was in the Netflix hit Red Notice with Dwyane Johnson and Ryan Reynolds.
When it comes to beautiful brunettes look no further than Jennifer Aniston. One of the stars of the hit 90s comedy Freinds , Aniston became one of the biggest stars in the world. Since the show ended she has crossed over into movies and mixed success, with movies such as The Break-Up , Marley & Me , Office Space , and Good Girl some of her stand-out features.
Aniston’s love life has also been a focus throughout her career, especially when she married heartthrob Brad Pitt. While the relationship didn’t last, the two remain friends, with Aniston still a favorite amongst moviegoers.
Getting her breakthrough on the Disney series Liv and Maddie , it didn’t take long for Dove Cameron to crossover into the world of movies. While she hasn’t exactly picked the best films (her credits include The Angry Birds 2 Movie and Barely Lethal ), she does have a couple of upcoming flicks that could boost her profile.
Her TV work includes appearances on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D ., Schmigadoon! , and the Descendants series of television movies. Cameron has also starred in several plays and off-Broadway shows and appeared on several movie soundtracks. She has a bright future ahead of her.
7th Heaven was the big breakthrough for Jessica Biel. After starring in the family drama she graduated to movies, with some of her early roles coming in The Rules of Attraction , The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, and Blade: Trinity .
Her filmography is littered with big blockbusters such as The A-Team and Total Recall (the remake), romantic comedies like Valentine’s Day and Accidental Love , and interesting choices along the lines of horror The Tall Man and drama Powder Blue .
While the movie roles have become less frequent, Biel has been a hit on the small screen, with appearances in The Sinner , Limetown , and Cruel Summer . The brunette is also the mom to two kids and married to pop star Justin Timberlake.
Natalia Portman has come a long way from playing the protege of a hitman in the 1994 movie Léon: The Professional . The accomplished actress with brown hair has won an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award during her nearly 30-year career.

While she has been in the news of late thanks to her dalliance with Pete Davidson, Kate Beckinsale remains a Hollywood favorite. The Londoner got her start on the stage before transitioning to film where she has had a very successful career. Beckinsale is best known for her romantic comedies and role as the vampire Selene in the Underworld franchise. She has starred in all five films in the B-grade horror series.
Although she hasn’t taken as many roles as previously over the past few years, Beckinsale remains an in-demand actress and will next be seen in Charlie Day’s comedy El Tonto .
Breaking out as a bi-sexual bar owner on The O.C. , Olivia Wilde has been in the news for all the wrong reasons of late. After taking up directing, her new film Don’t Worry Darling has already got people talking for the wrong reasons.
There’s the fact it stars Harry Styles, who she is said to have had an affair with while married to Jason Sudeikis and who is now her boyfriend. Then there are rumors she and the film’s other lead Florence Pugh don’t get on due to Pugh not liking her romance with Styles. To top it all off, Wilde said original lead Shai LaBeouf was fired , but that seems to be untrue.
Whatever is going on, it’s not a great look for Wilde, who has built an impressive career as an actor and director. If she can rise above it all she will continue to be a star and get the recognition she deserves.
At various moments throughout her time in the spotlight, Angelina Jolie has been named one of the most beautiful women in the world. Her brown hair, chiseled features, and curvy body have seen her on the cover of all the big men’s magazines. But there is a lot more to Jon Voight’s daughter than her looks.
She is a very talented actress who has won many awards (including an Oscar and three Emmys) and is known for her humanitarian efforts. Jolie has supported many charities and causes and often visits wartorn countries to help out. She has six children, three of which were adopted, and spends much of her free time with them.
