BROOKE Kinsella is an ex-Eastenders star who used her personal experience of knife crime to consult on the EastEnders gang knife crime story line.

Brooke Kinsella, 35, is a soap actress and anti-knife crime campaigner.
The former Eastenders star worked with the writers and cast on the soap to shape the poignant knife crime story line. 
In 2008 she lost her younger brother Ben after he became victim of a fatal stabbing - the Eastenders story line marks the 10th anniversary of his death.
She married her long-term partner Simon Boardley in December 2017 and remembered Ben on the day with a locket containing his picture in her bouquet.
Brooke described the soap's decision to take the issue of knife crime as "admirable and very brave" and admits that Ben's loss "feels like yesterday."
Following Ben's death Brooke set up the Ben Kinsella Trust and in 2011 was awarded an MBE for her work in raising awareness of knife crime in the UK.
Ben Kinsella was stabbed to death aged 16 shortly before 2am on June 29, 2008.
The teenager was on a night out in the Shillibeers pub in Islington, North London with friends to celebrate the end of their GCSE exams.
Outside in the pub's courtyard area, Osman Ozdemir started an argument with a boy named in court as Alfie who he accused of giving him a wrong look.
The argument escalated with Osman's best friend Jade Braithwate jumping to his defence and threatening Alfie.
Braithwate then rang his friend Michael Alleyne for back up who arrived at the scene with his childhood friend Juress Kika.
As Ben exited the pub with his friends they noticed they were being followed.
Ben stepped off to one side but was cornered by Braithwaite, Alleyne and Kika who stabbed him 11 times.
CCTV footage showed Ben staggering from the scene as he was supported by his friend Louis - actress Linda Robson's son.
Ben lost 30 pints of blood as a result of the attack and later died in hospital with his family by his side.
At the trial in June 2009, Alleyne and Kika were each sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 19 years.
Ben's death lead to a series of anti-knife crime demonstrations and raised the profile of the government's Operation Blunt 2 -a review of knife crime sentencing laws.
Brooke Kinsella played Kelly Taylor in Eastenders from 2001-2004.
She originally auditioned for the parts of Janine Butcher, Zoe Slater and Sonia Jackson but had been unsuccessful.
Brooke also formerly dated her Eastenders co-star Ray Panthaki who played Ronny Ferreira in the soap.
Ray, who was dating Brooke at the time of Ben's death, made a short film called Life Sentence about the effects of knife crime which was longlisted for a BAFTA in 2014.

Brooke Kinsella has given birth to a baby boy on the anniversary of her younger brother’s death.
The former EastEnders star, who starred as Kelly Taylor in the BBC soap, took to social media to confirm the news while also revealing a touching tribute to her late sibling.
Just one day after welcoming the youngster, Kinsella posted the first picture of her newborn on Instagram.
At the time, Kinsella revealed she had chosen to name her son in honour of her brother.
“Ben Ross Boardley 29/06/22A perfect miracle given to us on a day when so much was taken away,” Kinsella wrote.
“Named after the very best of men. He will do them so proud, I know it already.”
Kinsella was swiftly inundated with supportive messages as friends and fans reflected on the joyful news.
“Beautiful, I think Ben sent you a gift to help ease your grief on this day,” one follower said, among the comments.
Others added: “Welcome to the world Ben Ross Broadly named after a wonderful young man a perfect gift to ease the pain of a day that took so much from you.”
The day Kinsella gave birth was bittersweet as it marked exactly 14 years since her brother Ben Kinsella was killed in a knife attack.
Kinsella’s brother was just 16 years old when he was killed in Islington after being attacked by three men with knives in 2008.
His death sparked outcry across London, with thousands later convening for a peaceful march amid frustration about increased knife crime.
Ms Kinsella and her family subsequently established the Ben Kinsella Trust to help educate young people about knife crime.
Reflecting on her family’s loss, this week Ms Kinsella also shared a throwback photograph on social media as she wrote about the last time she saw her brother.
She wrote: “On this day 14 years ago for some reason I popped in to see you at work. You had recently got your first job at an Internet cafe and you were so proud.
“You wanted to be a graphic designer and they very quickly realised how brilliant you were and let you start designing things. You showed me a menu you had created.
“It was wonderful. Sixteen years old and already doing what you loved. I stood back and watched you doing your thing. You had a smile and time for everyone, nothing was too much trouble. People just wanted to tell you their stories and about their day.
“I brought you McDonald’s. It was like I’d given you the world. I left you and said I’ll see you later. I never got to.”
